We love this restaurant and the people who run it. Very high quality food and service and a special atmosphere in the restaurant itself. We go there very often because it is so much better than most of the other restaurants around.

Hi, this place is a little gem, fine dining, nice wine, great ambiance, inside it looks great with several rooms all decorated very nicely, the food is off a high standard.

What an incredible place this is. Delicious food in an authentic place. Food is great but the price is even better. This is authentic Italian food at its best.

Everything was perfect for our lovely meal here. The food, the room, the service, the feel and atmosphere. And certainly the price for what we received. When the owner brought the bill to our table and in his "interesting" English inquired if everything was good,...and then queried "75 euro is OK?" Oh, yes--for what we experienced that evening, it was super "OK." An absolute bargain, if not a steal. And we didn't skimp on the menu--we went soup to nuts, aperitifs, wine, and digestifs. You feel like family and friends here, but the service and the presentations are impeccable. I cannot recommend it highly enough--and it's just a couple of minutes off the highway in a really nice, old town.More

Go to this incredible place HUNGRY. We had the whole dining experience from antipasti to primi (entree) to secondi (main) and finally dolce (sweets). The menu cooked by chef Lino was extensive and all beautifully done all locally sourced and fresh. This was one of...the best meals I have ever had. Make sure you try something you have never had before. The restaurant has a quirky layout with small rooms and different levels. It is owned by a former chef teacher who runs the front of house. All around this place is amazing.More

I went to this restaurant on several occasions. Each season the chef manages to surprise you with new suggestions. Especially the risotto's demonstrate the great talent of the chef. Service is friendly and in time. Prices are according to the quality of the food. I...would come a far way to visit this place another time.More

I found it amazing that such a cosy restaurant with such am outstanding cuisine was not fully booked and in fact was not crowded at all. Have been there two nights in a row so much we liked it. I have been to michelin starred...restaurants and this is nothing short of those considering not only food quality and taste, but also presentation and ambience. The little town housing this restaurant with the castle across the road are another plus (ask to be seated in the little room facing the castle). The only remark I would have is that there is no menu (the manager and I suppose owner mr. Mariano explains it all) and also we did not see the wine cart but trusted him for the selection. Price is a bargain considering what you get. Last word for the nice waitress, she is cool and calm, speaks English fluently and is very nice, brava! Can't wait to go back.More

I was here for lunch in a table for 5 people, 2 of which were vegetarian. The restaurant is off the beaten tracks but it is really worth a visit. The design and decoration of the interior is well-finished in every detail and everything is...well kept and very clean. The traditional Alpine atmosphere is genuine and not "kitsch". The only thing I would say is that is was not very warm inside, despite the fireplace and stove which were on. It was not cold though. They have a wide choice of traditional dishes "reloaded" also suitable for vegetarians. Every dish was simply perfect: tasty, well presented, regular portions, from the starter to the dessert. The ingedients were first quality, fresh and everything was homemade: bread, pickles, dumplings, etc. The staff was kind and professional and the owner was friendly and passionate about his job. I will certainly come back and I advice everyone to come here for a meal (You'd better book in advance).More
