After our visit to the museum, we also visited the restaurant of the Museum “Restaurant Olea” for our lunch. We were welcomed very friendly by the staff, and we can confirm that we had a delicious meal, you can choose the daily special or a...la carte during the week! The restaurant is not huge, so it is recommended to book in advance, this can be done via their website, here you can choose your dishes on forehand and if you can also could indicate the estimated time of arrival, this can avoid having that you have to wait a little longer (this as a tip). The restaurant offers a very nice view of the surroundings. I also wish to correct one thing, I have read in a few comments on the restaurant on “Google” that the restaurant would not be suitable for people with limited mobility! This is not correct, the restaurant can be reached via a staircase, but for the disabled persons there is the same surface area of the restaurant with the same view and this on the ground floor under need the restaurant above, where the toilets are for every visitor, so we think this comment is anything but correct !! Again a big congratulations to the owners with their Museum and their restaurant.More

Typical for the area but more expensive! Nice modern restaurant but menu is badly translated - eg: “lamb to the baker”. The beef loaf turned out to be plain grilled steak. Still no sign of a vegetable in any restaurant so far! Nicely cooked meat...and potatoes but no better than we’ve had elsewhere locally for about 20 euros less.More

On August 1 at 19:30 pm, I came to dinner at the Olea restaurant and those meals that leave us wanting more! Opened at the time they were on time, and they received me in the best possible way! The company was super friendly and...served me in the best possible way, it was the same as the best care provided to date! The food was very good, you can see they like to cook dishes!! It even felt like an explosion of flavors in your mouth. I would like to thank all the workers at Restaurante Olea, for the way they received me. and I wish you to continue with a great job. (Not forgetting that we are in a pandemic state, so the service that was done previously is not possible.) Thanks for everything. 5 stars 👌More

When we came in at 19:30h the personnel was still eating and we had to wait 10 minutes. At first we had to take a table that was in the sunny side and the waitress told us to close the curtains. As we refuged because...the restaurant has a beautiful view and we did not want to look at the closed curtains we were allowed to sit at a different table,...with no other guests in the restaurant this was very rude.. After the waitress finished her meal we were served, we became a plate with the forks and knifes and had to make our own table. The goatfish we ordered was very overcooked and had no taste so after a few bites we left it for what it was. The waitress told that she would tell the kitchen about this but that was all.. We even had to pay for this at the end without any compensation. Also no vegetables or lettuce or else came to the meals. The restaurant itself looks very good and the prices are high for Portugese standards. Bad price-quality! Very sorry that such a nice place to be was so bad.More

After ordering we asked for our cold water when 15 minutes had past. We where very thirsty. The still water came and was warm. The otherwise execlent wine of Ribeiro Santo was warm as well. Not out of the fridge. Who does nog know that...it should be chilled? We ordered meat on a hot stone for three persons. It came for two. Nobody noticed and the stone was look warm. The meat could not be grilled at this temperature. We asked for new stoned and the came look warm as wel. What a horible birthday party with invited friends. We where so ashamed towards our friends. We wo´nt book again.More
