I can't find the West Bay branch of Tukka on TA so factor that in.
Anyway, great restaurant. Prices were reasonable for the island.
Food? Interesting and very good. For the first time in my life, I was able to taste crocodile. Didn't particularly like...it, but now I know!
You would do well to have the Kangaroo bangers. I was reluctant to order basically sausage and mash but they have put a sophisticated spin on it. They were kind enough to allow me to purchase some frozen ones to take home.
Nice setting but may get crowded (parking and seating) on special days.More
Went for a nice drive East and stopped at Tukka for 2 drinks and asking for the well rum. I was stunned to get a bill for 23$ during happy hour times for a measured pour drink. Absolutely a rip off if you want to...stop for a casual pit stop do your self a favor and do not go to Tukka. I am still shocked I thought it would be a enjoyable stop and now I'm just pissed off that I was robbed like a tourist. Get it together chef and stop gouging your customers. Thumbs down for Tukka. Just say no to TukkaMore
My husband and I had the pleasure to go back to the Cayman Islands again this year. During the 2 weeks of quarantine, we had two delicious meals delivered as we were not able to dine out. From ordering over the phone to delivery, the...service was amazing!
When we were released from quarantine, they were the restaurant of choice to dine out. The atmosphere is casual but elegant at the same time. A special thank you to Pappu and Mayur (hope I spelled your names correctly) our servers who were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to provide service. Also kudos to the chefs who changed up some menu options for me to eat. Thank you Tukka and staff for your amazing service. May you prosper in all you do.! See you next year!More
We had a number of great brunches at Tukka in January/February before COVID hit the planet. On all occasions we loved the delicious food, awesome service and incredible setting/view. What was different this time was learning of Chef Ron and his lovely wife Lana's work...on a new animal sanctuary showcasing some of Cayman's unique wildlife. Now we hear that they have introduced QR codes to provide safe, sanitary access to all their cocktail, rum, wine and food menus. Once again showing the rest of the industry how to innovate while protecting their clients and our environment! Kudos to Ron, Lana and their great team for showing us the way!!More
