This review is wayyy overdue but had to write it. We went here pre pandemic and had the best most affordable delicious meal of our lives! The seafood is hands down some of the best we’ve had. The atmosphere is fun and casual. I would...eat here every night if I could!More

Our first time back after many years. A good selection of seafood which can be chosen from the fresh counter or sushi carousel. Prices are by weight so you intially have no idea of what you are in for, price-wise. So, dont go on too...tight a budget. Our waiter did of course show us the price once we had chosen our choice of fish. The meal was good and we had great service from a good waiter. Definitely a speciality Seafood restaurant.More

The Cod Father was the best seafood i've ever had in my life. They have an amazing sushi belt that circled high bar stalls which anyone can go and help themselves to, once you have filled up on tasted sushi a waiter takes you over...to the fish counter which is very similar to a fish market in the UK. You choose from a huge selection of different selfish and normal fish. My mum and I went for the butterfish, king prawns, calamari and langoustine, we had this with a side of fresh cabbage and chunky chips and a selection of sauces (hot spicy sauce, garlic sauce, butter sauce, tomato sauce and something that resembled tartar sauce). The waiters were so attentive and friendly which made the experience even better. We left the restaurant very satisfied and content, many thanks to the chefs and waiters.More

Many choices in this area; this one recommended by luxury hotel in Central. although very busy we were seated promptly and they changed our table with a smile when we weren't at first pleased. Service Excellent; Food excellent and fun to choose. It is difficult...to say which is "the best" restaurant of this type in this busy area, but this one met all of our expectations and it would be o ur first choice to return to.More

You can feel the bustle as you walk into the place and the energy stays with you through the array of sushi plates and fish. A nice spot for a fun night out in cape town.

An authentic South African Seafood experience. All seafood was displayed for selection and prepared fresh. Great ambiance, delicious and friendly service. Although higher priced than average, well worth the cost for and extra-ordinary experience.

Do not miss eating in this unique restaurant. From the sushi starters to choosing the fish or shellfish you wish to eat priced by weight you know you are getting the best produce and prepared by experts. Our waitor Stuart was an absolute joy and...made our evening even more perfect. Fantastic wine list. You have to book to guarantee you will get a table. We are from the UK and ate there on our last trip in 2015 and couldn’t wait to return. It was worth the wait.More
