Life Grand Cafe booked our company to go visit them on 01 December 23 and cancelled the booking on 14 November, one apology and a bottle of wine to make up for the inconvenience? Really? Very poor service from the F.O.H . On the 28th I was there with my two friend's, we waited for the host to sit us down, she sent us upstairs with one menu even though we were 3. Surprisingly we waited for 30minutes and no...one attended to us. I had to go and ask one of the waiters, he said we should wait for 2 minutes and didn’t believe that we were set down and given the menus by their hostess .5 minutes passed he never came and we had to go and look somewhere else after wasting our 40 minutes!!! .Don’t recommend itMore

I went there accidentally and do not regret it! The view was just amazing, coupled with excellent service. The food I had was recommended by one of the staff members of the hotel and did not regret for taking that. It was so delicious!!! Especially..."le Crème Brûlée" was fantastic.More

The food is excellent we had brunch, the view the service. If you looking for a place to hav a nice brunch this is it. My husband and I loved it!

Maybe a bit more for the younger generation but it was vibrant in a positive way and I had my first Seafood Souvla and it was good. Staff was good

Wonderful restaurant on the waterfront. We sat outside at a cozy sofa table overlooking the water. The food was excellent and our server Adam was gracious and helpful. This was a wonderful way to spend our first night in Cape Town!

We were able to visit this great venue on the V and A Waterfront just before we left Cape Town as the weather had been atrocious for the last few days. It was a warm sunny day o we were able to sit outside on...some of the most comfortable seating ever! Great big fluffy cushions providing real comfort which is especially appreciated by someone with back issues. Fantastic views out over the harbour as well. Staff could not have been more attentive and the food was really good. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive but long enough to know it had been freshly prepared. Looking at some of the negative comments I am a bit surprised but either they just hit a bad day or we were lucky enough to hit a good one.More

From the view to the food it was absolutely immaculate! The service was amazing and super quick and the food was affordable and super tasty. I’d definitely recommend this place for sure :)

It was a very crowded inside because it was too cold for the patio. We got seats by the windows looking towards the patio and the water. We ordered drinks, beer and a frozen fruit punch, which was very good but not the best choice...on a cold night. We ordered a sushi dragon roll and a sushi bowl. Later we ordered hot tea to warm up. Food and service were both very good. We would recommend this place.More

I received amazing service from Mike (Rasta). It was a fairly large table with my team and he ensured that we were properly looked after. Would definitely come back as a result.
