On January 26, 2025, we were in the forge for dinner on the occasion of a celebration with 5 friends. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and has a traditional Mecklenburg cuisine. Very nice ambience, nice service, no taste in the food. I'll just say one thing: season, season, season. The meat hasn't even seen the pan from far away, cooked or warmed up in the microwave. Four of us came in without a reservation on a whim. Everything was booked, except for this one table.
We were lucky that we got to know this lovely restaurant. Very nice and well-kept ambience. Service was courteous, nice and friendly.
We had: 1x trout, 1x mustard schnitzel, 1x turkey steak, 1x pickled meat + 1 starter soup. All side dishes were great.
Everything was plentiful and very, very tasty. No dish cost more than €20!
