About
C-Mew is a family-owned and run guesthouse and restaurant with 180 degree ocean views, outdoor pool and fresh seafood. Located in Tofinho, along Mozambique’s spectacular coastline, it’s the perfect base after a day exploring everything Tofo has to offer - diving, surfing, snorkelling, fishing and watch the humpbacks during whale season (June to September). We have 3 ensuite rooms, two of which have 2x double beds for children sharing with adults. Our restaurant is renowned for its tasty, fresh and locally-caught seafood, delicious steaks, chicken and pork. Free Wifi.

Great spot with 5 star food l, 5 star views but 10 star hosts.. a hidden seafood gem. Sitting on the rocks at tofino this place is a must for visitors wanting to have a 360 view of the sea and its happenings while enjoying great value home cooking.. we love this place.. corrie and linda keep doing what you doing your hospitality is infectious and we love our times there.

C-Mew is a homely 3 bedroom guest house with an incredible restaurant and a magnificent view in Tofinho Mozambique.
We felt completely comfortable and relaxed with the friendly and caring hosts. Corrie and Linda and their amazing staff, Pedro, Patience and Steven will go the extra mile to make sure you are 100% satisfied. The chefs Ernesto and Fafa produce the tastiest seafood dishes fresh from the sea and the portion sizes are extremely generous.
The accommodation was perfect for us with a large double bed and en-suite bathroom.
The rooms were serviced everyday and we got clean linen and towels after two days. Even our laundry had been washed and ironed while we were out scuba diving.
I cannot reccomend C-Mew highly enough. I would easily give it 10 stars. We were totally happy with our stay, just wish it could have been longer. We know we will be back to stay and are already planning our next trip.

My wife and I visited twice during our recent two weeks visit to Tofo.
We had prawn rissoles, grilled tuna, grilled barracuda and grilled calamari. Our mains were served with veggies and chips. The food was consistently excellent and the service very good.
Corrie and Linda are excellent hosts and the staff very friendly and efficient. We will definitely visit again.

Oli and I had a wonderful stay at C-Mew. We were supposed to stay for one night and ended up staying 3 nights in the end.
Wonderful location, beautiful view, amazing food ( best Peri Peri chicken of the area)
The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Definitely would recommend staying there.
If you like caipirinhas, try it there ( it’s the best we’ve ever had )

A hidden gem in Tofinho (a stone's throw from Tofo) with an amazing sea view from the dunes/cliffs which provides an excellent viewing point for watching humpback whales - and even you're not there in the whale watching season - it's just a lovely ocean view you can enjoy from anywhere in the restaurant. The staff are super friendly and we have a lovely, relaxed and enjoyable seafood lunch. Highly recommend.

Great little hidden spot in Tofinho. Would highly recommend and especially the view! We shared a seafood platter which was superb, one of the best I have had in Moz. To top it off we watched whales frolicking off the point . Great service. It’s only a 500 metical taxi ride there from Tofo beach. 👍🏼

Splendid restaurant with absolutely magnificent views of the ocean and an almost full moon with clear skies. Food was great & good choice reasonably priced. Only criticism was that there was very loud football being shown which wasn’t conducive to a social meal, fine you liked footy though I guess.

The tuna ceviche was the only food we ordered but it was incredible!! It came with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. The view is fantastic. We saw lots of humpbacks

The food was delicious here, and the views are to die for. We visited for early evening and to watch the rugby on the screens.
We loved seeing the whales out at sea from the big windows.

The place has great location, you can eat and observe the sea. Seafood is very good and at normal prices. They have very good ceviche, grilled fish and lobsters.

We were a group of 25 which was a bit too big for the kitchen to handle. Some couples received their food after the rest have finished eating. We ordered 8 hours in advance. Food was good quality and value for money but the wine was a bit expensive. Will visit again

We had a fantastic seafood platter at a very reasonable price.
The location is beautiful and the service is good.
