Great food in an elegant wine bar setting. Pricey for what you get, although this is Whistler after all.

The tapas here is amazing! Lovely environment(no kids allowed) for adults to have a nice class of wine and some really great food. Ps. I have 3 kids.

An intimate tapas restaurant and bar. Delightful dishes. We especially enjoyed the octopus and the scallops. We ate them so fast we forgot to take a photo. We also enjoyed the jamon Serrano and manchego on crostini. The drinks were delightful.

Put our name down for a table at 5:45pm, was told it would be 60 to 90 mins wait. They finally called at 8:30pm, what a joke!!! We’d eaten elsewhere. I’m sure the restaurant don’t care because they are full but how can any serious...More

Great atmosphere in the Village at Whistler. Small and loud bar with a great drink menu. You feel like you are in NYC. I would not recommend it for dinner though unless you really love different/unique tapas. We had a few small apps but the...More

The bartender makes unbelievable drinks. Using fresh ingredients my husband and I sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed witnessing his profession. The charcuterie board is excellent as well. Definitely worth booking a reservation as this is a small place but worth it! All of...More

After an awesome day skiing, my husband and I went out to find somewhere nice for Dinner on Christmas Day. Everywhere had a wait, including this restaurant, which was 1 hour. The maître d suggested we go next door to Araxi for a drink, which...More

Very cool place with a nice decoration. Tapas are just excellent. We tried all the sea-food tapas and with no exception all were just great! Sitting on the bar is also cool as you see the cook making the food. Albarino wine was just superb....More

No. It's a delightful place but it's not setup for large groups and the menu isn't kid-friendly.

Description
Bar Oso - "oso" meaning "bear" in Spanish, an homage to Whistler's wildlife - is open daily and offers a profusion of Spanish-influenced small plates, tapas, and house-made charcuterie. The long, convivial bar is the ultimate place to meet for hand-crafted cocktails and inspired wines.
