We’d literally pulled in here by chance, it was the first place on our way from Lesotho to Brits in South Africa, as soon as we parked the car I was in heaven, it was quirky and I love quirky, my eyes were everywhere. A...friendly man greeted us we asked for breakfast and made our order of the largest breakfast. WOW popcorn for breakfast that’s a first how lovely, coffee came, and a huge plate of breakfast, it was delicious. Service here is super with friendly staff but my delight was all the quirky art, going into the shop, a feast in its self for my eyes I loved it, it’s definitely a cherished memory and I will never forget it, it proves that you never know what will appear in your life to make a memorable moment.More
Not originally on our roadtrip plans, but when it was recommend to us on another stop in the area we decided to give it a try and were very glad we did! We sat out on the verandah to enjoy lunch overlooking the old railway...line and a 'picture perfect' view. (making a fun photo opportunity through the wooden frame) The burger was substantial and delicious, as were the yummy chicken pancakes...all orders are placed inside the Deli, which of course tempted us to stock up on decadent brownies and other treats for the road as well! With its quirky statues and interesting details, it's a lovely place to walk around and will definitely be added to our list of places to stop when we're next in the area again!More
Excellent all round quality. We had lunch and it was superb. All items bought were of the highest quality. So much so that there are a number of food items that we wish we had bought more of. A worthwhile stop.
Awesome area, great food and awesome service - With many antiques on sale and great art pieces to view
Great lunch and stunning farm stall goodies with a variety of pickles and home-ware items to purchase.
What a pleasant experience here - this place has something for everyone! The staff were friendly and helpful and the sitdown food service was fantastic. The breakfast meal was fresh, flavourful and satisfying. Great place to browse and shop for locally sourced and unique gifts....A highly recommended place to visit while traveling in the Freestate.More
Ideal place to stop for something to eat or to buy some local produce. You will definitely buy more than you wanted to. The outside area is ideal for kids to relax. The toilet facilities are well kept and clean. Enough sanitizer to use.
This is a definite "must stop" on any trip in the area. Set aside some time to browse/shop the delightful shops and one must definitely eat there - our lunch was delicious, beautifully presented, and it arrived quickly!! Prices are reasonable for such great quality...food, although some of their shop prices are pure tourist traps......Cherry Liqueur for R445 a 750ml bottle is a complete ripoff in my book! And someone mentioned that they thought they had seen "gluten free" mielie pap for R95/2.5 kgs!!!! If this is true, I never knew that mielie pap had gluten to start with!More

Awesome little shops and a fabulous restaurant. Great personal touches e.g popcorn to snack on while you wait for your food. The funniest outside toilet. Spotless but built into a old water tank - brilliant!
Definitely worth stopping when in the area. Great for lunch and for browsing. Flat bread and pancake was very good. Sales lady at the pay out was great!
Countryside type of vibe. You will get some shops where you can do some shopping. Lots of products displayed. Restaurant available. Kids area.
