La Gran Via is a traditional and prestigious restaurant in the historic center of the city. We went for a Mothers day celebration and have a very good time there, ate reasonably good and it was not as expensive as the $$$$ price classification suggests...(for Americans it will be on the cheap side). To my taste, the decoration looks old and pretentious, and the food, while generally good, has a very poor presentation. For instance, in one of the plates the meat and the sides color was almost identical, both of them kind of brownish. They are in dire need of a good chef for designing their plates. Service was very attentive.More
