The first impression is of a cafeteria-style lunch venue - it's very bare and you even get your food served on a tray. We'd been recommended this restaurant and were starting to second guess the person's taste. BUT the food tasted amazing! Wonderful flavours and...combinations made this a great meal. The main meal (there aren't starters) was great, but the pannacotta desert to me was the cherry on the cake. You get to choose from three main meals and there's one desert option. I assume these change. The kitchen is open and part of the restaurant, so you can also see a bit of how the chefs work should you wish. It's very bare, so you don't have a big vibe, but go there for the flavours and the taste of the food.More

I cannot believe that I only heard about this restaurant a couple weeks ago! What a wonderful experience! Things I loved: Incredible quality produce cooked so well Beautiful and quirky presentation A new menu every day Great service Gourmet style with a more relaxed ambiance...Open-plan so you are able to see everything happening in the kitchen Things to mention: 1) It was really chilly in the restaurant as all the fans were on - it's probably incredibly hot in there for the chefs and staff! They did eventually switch off the fans. 2) It does have a different ambiance to a usual restaurant - it is very clean and neat. It could have felt clinical, however, I felt very comfortable and absolutely enjoyed myself. It is a place that you can take friends, partners, and parents to. A delight! I will be back soon.More

Food is top drawer although they seem to overcharge for drinks (why do restaurants overdo it?); Canteen style service means that with a choice of 3 meals food is relatively quick so not really a restaurant to linger;

The restaurant is delivering what it promises but in my opinion the experience could be better with just few different details. For example, one is to make a slightly wider offer, maybe with some additional dishes or choices. Price-quality is excellent and the personnel very...nice and kind. I liked a lot the place. Be careful with the address for not being confused with other restaurants with similar names.More

The food is absolutely remarkable. The wine list is interesting and reasonably priced. The whole experience is just to die for. Come here if ambience is a bit less important and excellent service, wine and food is what makes you tick.

The friendly owner at Baraca Gifts recommended this wonderful restaurant as one of their favorites. We were not disappointed! They have a simple concept... only 3 dishes on the menu which changes every day. There was a meat, a fish and a veg option. We...were 3 so each of us had a different dish and we tasted from each other. It was absolutely superb! Good quality ingredients prepared with love. Just one desert on the menu which also changes every day, and we had a baked chocolate desert with home made ice cream. I personally had muliple mouthgasms!! HIGLY recommended.More

This establishment serves good and wholesome food that is not pretentious with many exciting twists. This is bespoke dining that is without comparison - as it is unique and leaves a lasting impression. And is perfect for people who do not want the different elements...on their plate touching each other. The chef Jenny is a class act who consistently delivers excellent, The staff is professional and engaging unlike many other supposedly 'top-class'/fine eatery restaurants in Cape Towns . I extend a special thanks to Lyndal, Costa and Nandi - you make our dining experience notable and memorable. Dr Firoz Khan (& Louise Scholtz)More

Having read the reviews we were prepared to be wowed and we were. The sort of place you dream of discovering where near where you live. We took both the non-veg mains and both were top quality dishes, salads were particularly well made and dressed....Great ingredients treated with respect and very affordable too. Not somewhere you'll spend a quiet evening as you're in, served and done after your two courses. Not rushed mind, just focuses on the food. Terrific!More
