I had a rum cupaccino. They have delicious pizzas arriving on wooden boards and made in a wooden oven. Amazing chilli sauce you can try on your food and buy when you are in love with it. Great nature atmosphere, out in the open and under the trees.

Wonderful surprise stop! Somehow we missed it on our last visit so keep your eyes open...our expectation of a quick, simple meal was well exceeded! A superb chicken burger with the works (cheese and bacon) ..the attention to quality ingredients and a sizeable portion made us think we’d never finish our meal...but with some persistence aided by it being simply delicious, we had no trouble and were sorted out for our drive back to Johannesburg! The coffee was excellent and the service super friendly and welcoming..we finished up with a shop stocking up on their hot and mild chili sauce sampled with our lunch. We will exhaust their menu on future stops home before considering anywhere else!

Magoebaskloof farmstall is a rustic gem !! There is no place around that serves better thin crust wood fired pizza's and their coffee is just as great. Recently they added Eggs Benedict to their menu, it is mouthwateringly good !! Locally sourced and smoked ham served on a soft English muffin topped with a poached organic egg and creamy dreamy Hollandaise sauce spooned over........heaven on a plate. It sometimes gets a bit busy but just sit back and enjoy the scenery because it will be worth the wait!! The owner Harry is actively involved and he will make sure that you will get a meal to remember.

We came across this beautiful little spot on the side of the mountain, nestled in the trees , en route to Magoebaskloof. We had read that they serve the BEST coffee but are expectations were exceeded! Honestly one of the finest cups we’ve ever had - made by a Master - the extremely friendly and helpful owner. We didn’t have time for a pizza but they looked delicious . There is a pretty little nursery on the property too . If one is in this area , you don’t want to miss this coffee experience !

When we arrived, we saw a guy by the entrance serving local gin. I ordered a double, and the guy put his dirty hands into the ice bucket to take ice to put in my drink??? Anyway, we went and sat down to order food, and our waiter was very energetic. A guy was playing very Afrikaans music on his guitar, and we enjoyed a chilled afternoon there

We were driving back to Johannesburg from a visit to Tzaneen and Phalaborwa. We decided to take a slow morning through Magoebaskloof and drove into this Farmstall. We were so pleasantly surprised bu this little shop! The Breakfast was certainly the best I have ever had - so fresh and just delicious! The shop is filled with lots of gifts and interesting finds! We will definitely be back here if we ever drive past.

Pleasantly surprised! The staff are immensely welcoming and friendly. It may not look like much, but there is a lot more on the menu than one might think! Stunning table-placements in the gorge. Very extensive menu for such a small-ish establishment. All-day breakfasts and drinks available. Wide balance for dietary needs, including vegan. Super easy access from the R71 (blink and you'll miss it!). Very reasonable prices. Kiosk shop sports a large complement of items as well as having some select Gin available. Worthwhile to stop, stretch your legs and never leave!

Friendly service, lovely ambience and great food. Loved the pies with gravy; it was the best Biltong pizza ever tasted!

I had been waiting 2 years to visit, since the last time we were in the area we had to give it a miss due to heavy rain, this time we especially found accommodation nearby so I could visit en route to Kruger, I was so hoping to buy fresh farm fruit and veg, and was so disappointed to find that it is NOT a Farmstall at all, but mainly a coffee shop/restaurant and basic nursery!!

What a nice little place in the middle of nowhere with very affordable prices. Had a nice breakfast next to the fire-herd, while it was raining outside.

Absolutely adorable little stop on the scenic R71. Pizza was fabulous, amazing setting and the chilli sauce...must buy a bottle or 2 of this hot sauce when you leave!

Do yourselves a favor and stop at the magoebaskloof farmstall! We stopped there by chance and enjoyed every bite! And top it all the wonderful people who runs this place! It doesn't happen often that we return to a restaurant for another meal just to try more of the menu... And this was one of these rare occasions. Enjoy!
