Celebratng my husband's birthday and made the reservations online for 7pm. Upon arrival the hostess Tania didn't offer the best seat in an empty restaurant🤔. In protest she gave me the seat I desired. I don't speak Spanish well, but I do understand the language...very well. After that the experience was way better. The food and drinks were incredible...homemade bread, short rib bowl beef empanadas, mashed potatoes, king crab legs. Everything was a little pricey but worth every penny. The sunset view was exquisite and then the fire dance show began...love that! The restaurant became extremely crowded and the music was too loud from that point on. People from inside came outside to see and people were ontop of each other where we were sitting. So my one concern is that social distancing does not happen at this place, pre-pandemic all of the waitstaff and people interaction would be OK...but not now with COVID19 still around. I would recommend Rosa Negra but with details of my entire experience and definitely about negative treatment from the hostess. Spanish is needed. Overall a good experience, my husband didn't enjoy the busyness.More

Appalling experience. No health and safety measurements are in place. Restaurant occupancy and operational aspects of running smooth service are managed poorly. Been seated at the table for 2px that was located just at the edge of the stairs so every person going down or...up was bumping my boyfriends shoulder with their hand, hip or elbow. On the other side of the table was a service station , so I was constantly disturbed by waiters coming back and forth and waitress making cocktails. Also customers and waiters are passing the table like at the school hallway during the break. Social distancing is non existent. Asked waiter to speak to team leader to switch the tables. Guy name Carl approached me saying there are no available tables as they are full and that people usually asks for this table. I said I will $100 to anyone who will agree to switch the tables IF this is a case. He must have been joking at that point. So I do understand restaurant or any other hospitality establishment has a target to reach a full occupancy , however how do plan it? and why the table I was seated even exist in that location? it doesn't meet any health and safety requirements. I'm sure if H&S in inspector or standards controller would be doing audit on it ,you guys would be fined for it. On another note you must to sort your planning and operation execution. Your standards just fall short tremendously because place is overwhelmed with people. High ratio between waiters and customers is not a solution. Start managing your occupancy levels accordingly. I live in Cancun and this was not the first time I went to RosaNegra but I can assure this was the last one. I won't be recommending to any of my friends RosaNegra, I would rather advise choose another restaurant. To the management team would suggest to take some tips from Taboo or RosaNegra in CDMX on how to run smooth operation and instead of handling complains with complimentary bottle of wine , just take a feedback on and eliminate those service gaps.More

This restaurant has an amazing menu. They have some traditional items, but they add that little extra that makes the food world-class. RosaNegra masters both their steak and seafood menu to perfection.

This is an unbelievable place to eat. We came here based on a recommendation and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Jonathan and Angel the manger made it great. Kids had dry ice cups with water from the beginning and Shirley temples without asking!! Drinks were on...point and food was legit good. So many loving parts and it was fun to watch it all happen. Show was a lot of fun and we told them we wanted to watch it and Jonathan escorted us down to it prior to it starting!! So much fun. Would recommend to anyone!More

Basically it's a dance club disguised as a restaurant. Our three families were seated right next to the DJ area between two groups of young women. The music was so loud one of our party got up and left for the hotel. It was so...loud that we could not hear each other talk and the waitress had to yell to be heard. Positives: -Food was fantastic for the most part. Drinks were very good. -If I was in my 20's or 30's and my kids were adults we might have enjoyed the dance club atmosphere. -nice fireworks and show during the meal Negatives: -LOUD LOUD LOUD music -Young ladies dancing on their chairs (is that a negative???) -did I mention LOUD LOUD LOUD music? I would come back and ask for an inside table or one that's the most quiet.More

What an amazing restaurant and experience. From the beginning, all measures were taken to ensure any food allergies were taken care of (we had two in our party of 6 who have celiac disease). Christian and Alfredo were amazing waiters. To start we had the...grilled prickly pear cactus and the grilled artichokes, which were perfectly grilled and delicious. For main course we had the delectable grilled Alaskan king crab along with the sea bass, which was flambeed tableside. What an incredible presentation! We also got the yucas and grilled asparagus, both of which were great. For dessert, we had the chocolate sphere and the giant churro, both of which were insanely good. The drinks were incredible, service was superb, food was 10/10. They even brought out the sparklers to celebrate our son's birthday. To see the smile on his face was priceless. Next time we're in Cancun we are definitely returning!More
