Try to get a patio table for a view of the luxury yachts while you dine in style. In the background a guitar gently strums setting the mood but still allowing for conversation. For a modest corkage fee you can enjoy the fine wine you brought from home, or choose from their list. The pastas are delectable with the exception of the house “crabmeat ravioli”. I wasted too many calories looking for crab. My dining companions shared their generous helpings of vodka penne, rigatoni with sausage and clams Vongole. Superb. This place is almost always packed for breakfast, lunch and dinner so reservations are recommended if you want a good table. It’s Italian in Mexico!

We arrived early, saw an almost empty area over the water, but we were told all the empty tables were reserved. We then went to their main building and sat at the edge overlooking the marina. We were there for an hour and a half and nobody was seated in any of those tables during that entire time. I think because it was just my wife and I, they thought we wouldn’t spend as much as the large parties they were hoping would arrive. I was insulted by this, especially since we usually tip 20 percent or more and order appetizers, meals, dessert, and usually several drinks. I thought the waiter who told us there wasn’t a table for us was rude, and judging by nobody dining in there the entire time we were there, he was either lazy or a liar? Our waitress inside was fantastic and kind and made us feel very welcome. We wanted to order the beet appetizer but were told they didn’t have any beets that day. We went there for the beet dish! Well, we ordered our dinners and more drinks and enjoyed sitting there. I got a fish dish that was excellent, and my wife got the spaghetti and meat sauce, and that was really good as well. They didn’t have the dessert we wanted, so we had one more round of drinks and then got the bill. This restaurant was very good and very reasonable. We walked around the marina for a while and when walking back by, we noticed those same six or seven empty tables over the water were still empty. I just wish some restaurants wouldn’t split tips because some deserve much more than others! Most of their staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, but there are a couple …

One test of a restaurant is consistency. We've been coming here for years and always had great meals. The service is very good and the menu has a great variety. My wife loved the fettuccine with clams that they serve. Great cappuccino! During prime season make a reservation if you want to eat in the section built over the water.

After reading all of the positive reviews, I thought this place would be good. It was surprisingly bad. I had the chicken Danielle and it as, literally, like shoe leather. It was also heavily salted. The salad was good and the wine was good. But the service wasn’t. The waiter never came to check how my meal was and didn’t notice I only ate 1/4th of my food. He also never asked if I wanted any water. Maybe the pasta dishes are better. It’s a shame really sure the location is beautiful and peaceful.

We enjoyed dinner at La Terraza di Roma tonight and it was a delight! We started off the dinner with freshly-baked Rosemary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. The wine and cocktail selection is impressive and very reasonably priced, with by the glass as well as bottle options. For our main course, we tried the grilled fish covered with marinara which has julienned vegetables and Parmesan roasted potatoes on the side. It was super. Our other entree was the steak medallions with Parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus. While both entrees were excellent, the service also made the entire visit memorable. The wait staff clearly is highly trained and genuinely cares about their customers. We enjoyed our visit so much, we made a second reservation for our last night in Puerto Vallarta. Reservations are strongly encouraged as eager customers were turned away due to a thriving business. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to eat in PVR, head to the marina and check out this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

A delicious fish or pasta restaurant with incredibly low prices for excellent quality.Every night there is soft live music. One of the three dining rooms overlooks the water with soft candlelight. Another one is a terrace overlooking the marina.Make sure you reserve a table as this restaurant is a winner.

Had our Christmas dinner here. Great views in the marina. Excellent service and the food was amazing. I recommend the shrimp scampi, large well cooked shrimp in a garlic tomato sauce.

I would not normally go to an Italian restaurant while in Mexio - but this place is like sitting in your Italian's aunt kitchen. Homemade pastas (the lasanga and pasta bolongese with meat balls highly recommend) The owner and his wife are so nice - we felt like family. Casual dining - recommend for couples, small groups and families. You MUST try their homemade Gelato !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This retaurant is walking distance from the Westin Hotel. We have had drinks and appetizers at this place on the water in the past and decided to try it for breakfast. It is a lovely spot with a part of the restaurant on the water and another part overlooking the marina area. They specialize in Italian food. We wanted to sit in the area overlooking the water and asked to wait for a table overlooking the water and Mrina. The wait was not too long and we were seated at a wonderful table right on the rail overlooking the water. We ordered eye openers from the bar, which took a long time. It was taking a long time just to get them to take our breakfast orders too. At least the view and ambiance were so nice that the waits were bearable. When the food came, my husband's eggs (benedict) were very hard. We did not send them back because it took so long to get the entrees in the first place. My Huevos Divorciodos on the other hand were excellent!! Eggs cooked perfectly and dish was delicious. the stars are more for the restaurant location and the ambiance - the service could use some help and improvement

This is the ONLY restaurant at the PV marina that actually sits out over the water. They also have another indoor dining area across the boardwalk. On our 1st day in PV, we wanted to have dinner here, but they were booked up at least 3 days in advance for dinner, so we reserved a table for our (last) 5th night staying near the marina. When that day came (January 2, 2022) we arrived and were seated immediately, table for four in the corner, great spot. No real complaints about the service, he was good. My wife and I ordered a bottle of Tempranillo. When he brought it out, it was chilled. Who chills a dry red wine? This is a faux pas for a supposedly fine Italian restaurant. We sent it back and he did bring us a non-chilled bottle. The menu here is smallish, limited choices. I started with a Pasta Fagioli, which is a favorite Italian soup of mine. When I received it, it was just cannelloni beans with a few pieces of penne pasta in a tomato sauce, not at all authentic Italian. This soup is supposed to be rich and spicy with veggies, herbs, sausage and beans, so that was a fail. My main course choice was Rigatoni Rafaello - pasta with Italian Sausage. Bland and just okay to fill my stomach. There was live music from one guy who played a keyboard and a guitar, but he was on the opposite end of the restaurant and played so softly and quiet we really could not hear him. Yes to good service and a nice view on the water as the sun set... but not high quality Italian food.

For my last dinner in Puerto Vallarta (marina area) I decided to treat myself to some great food at La Terrazza Di Roma. I started with an appetizer of bruschetta. It was very tasty and I really enjoyed the thick bread it came on. For dinner I had the salmon covered in curry sauce with potatoes and asparagus. The fish was perfectly cooked as well as the asparagus and potatoes. The curry sauce was tasty but not too hot. My only critique would be to use less sauce on the fish, otherwise everything else including the service was outstanding.

We recently made another visit with a group of family/friends. Our table enjoyed a wide variety from the menu including the Italian minestrone soup, mussels, Caesar salad, Caprese salad, rigatoni with truffle sauce, seafood pasta, chicken parmigiana, linguine with clams, margarita pizza, meat combo pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti bolognese, penne with vodka sauce and an assortment of desserts. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive and accommodating, especially with splitting the bills amongst all of us. We dine here every time we’re in PV and sometimes make several visits during our stays. Our favourite Italian restaurant. Reservations are recommended, especially if you go on a Thursday evening during the marina market.

One of the worst meals we’ve had since we’ve been here. Ordered the burratta, arugula and sausage pizza. Came to the table cold. Arugula - far too much - absolutely covered the pizza and the burratta was plopped down in the middle. Read better on the menu. We were seated on the terrace over the water but be prepared for mosquito bites! Spray liberally before attending. On the upside our friends were quite pleased with their dinner which arrived 15 minutes after ours did. Guess the kitchen couldn’t time/coordinate the food to arrive altogether.

Kat and I had a WONDERFUL dinner here Jan 2023. The bread they open with is outstanding with olive oil and parmesan. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer, very good and substantial. Kat had Pollo Pizziola, breaded chicken drowned in cheese with potatoes and a small salad. After the bread and bruschetta, Kat couldn’t finish hers (leftovers for me for lunch tomorrow). I had fish fillet (mahi mahi) over linguini, shredded zucchini & shredded carrots, all smothered in an alfredo cream sauce with capers. Service (primarily from Aldo) was excellent. Together with 2 bottles of Pellegrino, the bill was $870, with a generous $220 tip, total was $1,090, about $61 USD

We have eaten here before on prior trips to Puerto Vallarta and it has always been good food and good service. That wasn’t the case this time! My husband ordered steak and shrimp and I had the braised short ribs over pasta. We could have cooked both meals better at home ourselves! In addition, my husband likes Irish whiskey and they didn’t have any. Service was not the greatest either. There were plenty of men standing around and we had to flag them down for wine and water refills. It was the only time we saw them during our meal but during checkout our waiter was quick to point out they were open for breakfast! Perhaps if you order a traditional Italian meal it would be better because the focaccia bread was awesome!
