This restaurant is simply delightful with wonderful service and the food was beautifully presented and tasted just gorgeous. I would highly recommend this establishment. Well done to the owners, service and kitchen staff on a superb all round experience.

Booked at short notice and we were delighted to be seated at a lovely table for 4 in the window. The evening was really rainy but the sound of the rain on the roof added atmosphere! The room is nicely lit - I hate too much light on a table.
Menu is really extensive, I battled to choose but, after a starter of tender grilled calamari, chose the seafood pasta. It was incredible, one of the best I've had. Two of our party had steaks, which were delicious - so incredibly tender, they were like butter!
My kids liked the food so much they ordered a pizza to take home after their meal!
The wines were lovely and waiting staff friendly. Value for money is exceptional. Can't wait to return- if only I didn't live 13,000 miles away!

We came here for breakfast and were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress and given a menu that is comprehensive and caters for all tastes. Service was reasonably quick and the English breakfast was all you would expect while the Mexican corncake was sensitively flavoured and more than my wife could handle. The coffee was just right. It can get a bit noisy at peak periods and it's advisable to come early for breakfast on weekends to be sure to get a good seat.

Took my boys for lunch. We had read the reviews and looked forward to trying their food.
My younger son ordered pesto penne chicken.
My older son had the napolitano penne chicken((comes with seafood but I asked for chicken as he is allergic to seafood).
I ordered the Thai veg curry.
My sons napolitano chicken was bland, watery and lacked taste. We called for the manager.
Explained that the plate of food was not good.
The manageress stated that they make the napolitano sauce without any seasoning and garlic as people are allergic to garlic. I informed her that I do cook a napolitano sauce and it is a sauce rich in taste.
I asked if she could please replace his meal, she offered to take the plate of food back and to make it taste better by adding garlic.
My son declined and asked if he can replace his meal.
She said no problem and asked if he would like to take the chicken pasta home!
This just floored me!
We don’t send food back unless there is a major problem.
She then agreed to replace his meal, she was not pleasant or attentive to us at all.
She then went to the entrance of the kitchen and from her disposition we could see she was not happy with us.
My Thai veg curry lacked taste, I was too afraid to say anything, so I opted to keep quiet. The curry was all cream, about 2 broccoli florets, 4 slices of carrots, 4 cubes of butternut, and I can’t clearly remember if it had anything else. Menu stated it is served with rice and roti.
Roti was a wrap, very different texture.
Don’t serve what you done have!
At R135 this curry was a total disappointment!
Not a pleasant lunch.

I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Burger with fries. I was so disappointed with what arrived on my plate. For the price I was paying and the reputation of the eatery, I was expecting to get a delicious dinner. The bun was not a toasted brioche, but a Portuguese Roll. The tomato was soggy and stale, as was the limp lettuce. The crumb was not crispy at all.

Arrived for brunch. No temp check on arrival. Service very slow and waiter returned more than once to check what was ordered. We eventually settled on pizzas as only breakfast menu served until 11.30.
After 10 min were told the one pizza we ordered was not available so ended up sharing one. Took 90 min to have a pizza and milkshake. Also waiters mask spends more time around his neck than over his mouth. When Bill came we were charged R188 00 for 4 milkshakes instead of 2. Was sorted out but as restaurants go was slow and inefficient. Pizza was very mediocre. Won't rush back.

The venue was recommended by my daughter who had previously been for lunch. The venue was very busy this particular day for lunch. The food, to tell the truth, was by no means memorable. Two of the dishes disappointed, the pasta dish was quiet bland and the butter chicken (a repeat order, previously the star of the evening!) was so dry that extra sauce (or anything!) was requested to make the dish palatable. Prices are not cheap! Service was up to standard. Unlikely to be going back!

We went to Bellevue for dinner as it’s always been a great spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner and food is consistently good. This time however it fell short. Fish overcooked and dry. No capers as mentioned. Chips average. Salad ok. Duck Spring roll starter was flavoured with curry - weird - couldn’t taste the duck. Attentive staff. Good atmosphere. Such a pity about the food.

Awesome ambience, my so. Had their burger which he struggled to finish. His eyes nearly popped iut of his head when he saw the size of the milkshake he is getting and in his own words: the best milkshake ever. I had a gluten free pizza but it was so hard i could barely cut it. Usually the case with gluten free bases but this was very hard. Service was very good.

We visited Bellevue Cafe on Saturday 9 October having booked a table for 16. This was for a team dinner and before we knew it the size of our table had tripled! A team of hungry teenage swimmers straight after a gala! Not only did the staff of Bellevue manage to accommodate us on an already busy evening, but they did it with a smile and were super efficient in getting us fed and watered! We did not wait for one thing. I really need to commend the management and waiters with an extra special thanks to August, our superb waiter. Give that man a Bells! Excellent, superb and outstanding. Thank you for making what could have turned into a disaster a great team building success!! Not to mention the delicious food!

Lovely outdoor ambiance for a relaxing breakfast. All enjoyed the salmon avo poached eggs. Full of flavour and a good serving. Flavourful fruit juices. Service was very friendly. Recommended.

Had a really good lunch. Food was really tasty, we had a pizza and the Korean wrap. Both were excellent. The cocktails were also really good. Service was excellent, and even though it was busy nothing went amiss. We will definitely be back here.

We recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a party at home for family and friends. We did most of the catering ourselves but decided to have the cake made by Belveue Cafe.
What a lovely pair of cakes. A lemon vanilla cake and a chocolate ganache cake. Both were perfect and delicious and the cost was very reasonable.
Thank you for making our celebration so special.

Have not recently visited this restaurant for some time, but was not disappointed with the breakfast provided. They have a very expansive breakfast menu. I chose on of the omelettes, which was tasty. Restuarant was busy burt service good.
