We were staying in a nearby B & B and visited the restaurant here for dinner. Service and food were excellent and great value for money. Although this lodge obviously caters for tour groups, the service for individual diners was superb. The second night, there...was a fantastic, very reasonably priced buffet. Meat had been braaied (barbecued) and included chops, steaks, sausages and chicken as well as a huge range of salads. There was also soup and rolls and three different desserts as well as masses of fruit. Delicious.More

Went here on two consecutive nights, mainly because the restaurant manager (Ashley) made us feel like family 😉 We has drinks and a dessert the first night which turned into, more rounds than expected. Very pleasant dinner on the 2nd night, with compliments to the...chef for the Springbok Shank and Pork Belly!
Great atmosphere all round with lots of bird sounds and African style decor 👌More
Was there for lunch with my family and our food was not only 1 and hours late but the waiter ignored us the whole time we were there. Food was OK but slightly cold. Very disappointing as I'd hear great things about this restaurant.
I visited this restaurant with my family while staying in the area. All four of us ordered seafood. The Calamari Patagonica, Calamari Roulade, and the Seafood Platter were the best we have had. Clearly the chef knows how to prepare seafood. I would highly recommend...this restaurant for seafood. We also ordered as a starter the Jalapeno Poppers stuffed with cream cheese and other goodies. My mouth is watering as I write this two days later. If you are in the area a definite place to visit.More
We watched the Rugby World Cup at Wildlife on Saturday. Such a gorgeous venue! The garden is stunning & the staff is super friendly & helpful! We had the chicken mayo toasties with chips. The food is quite averag but the stunning venue makes up...for the food.More

No you wont pay to re-enter the park as you pay for the full duration of your stay as you enter the park and are given a permit. But if you exit the park you have to obtain a re-entry permit before you leave and tell the main gate you are coming back from your shopping trip or dinner outside the park. But they are very strict with regard to the gate closing times ( a hefty fine applies for non adherence ) so I would make arrangements with SanParks/Addo about this - I know special arrangements can be made for late arrival/entry as long as it is before 10pm, so they may be agreeable. If not I would suggest having lunch outside at Tangelo or Africanos instead and a light supper in the Park. park....or Lenmore has a shop/deli that sells take away meals you could heat for supper .
