What a lovely padstal. Service is good and the food is good too. I can recommend the chocolate cake. We bought some delicious, last-of-the-season sultanas. The shop is stocked with treats, gifts and local industry goodies. The owner was engaging and helpful and even went...out of her way to share local updates on open routes after the recent floods. This place encapsulates the area's hospitality and warmth. I highly recommend.More

This is a landmark in Kakamas, and well worth a visit. I visited Pienk Padstal 8 years ago, and it's still a must see stop in the Karoo.

Based on reviews we had to visit this farm stall on our way back from Kgalagadi and we so glad we did. Typical South African traditional farm stall plus more You just can't miss this place as it's very pink. There is a shop with...some snacks like dates which are made locally, some biscuits etc and souvenirs. The restaurant next door is owned by someone else but feels like part of the package. We had a meal there and enjoyed the quirky setting and many humorous signs , food was also lovely You have to visit this stall if you anywhere near KakamasMore

Overrated, perhaps something special in the past. No personal touch, not even a greeting by staff upon entering. Don’t waste your time here, rather visit the other farm stalls en route to Kakamas.

A Must visit when you are going to Augrabies Falls. It’s charming, has a really great selection of items in the shop and the used Book store is a book lovers dream. If you have space, get a quiver tree pot plant and a bag...of pink Quartz stonesMore

A shaded gem along the roadside, we were happy to stop over for a lunch during a hot day. The menu included sandwiches, burgers, Wraps, milkshakes, cold drinks and a few other nibbles. The farmshop is a must-visit, so many treats!

After the build up from everyone in the town , Pienk padstal did live up to its reputation for having some of everything. Limited space , mostly fruits, foods, gifts and a restaurant all in a cosy space. Sweet decor.

Considering the bad experience we had on the restaurant side, this was a better and refreshing experience. The lady was super helpful and full of smiles. So much so that we landed up spending a small fortune. Totally worth it.

We just loved everything about this farm stall. They really went the extra mile to make it interesting inside the restaurant area. The food and coffee was great. Clean toilets. Friendly staff.

Great breakfast , friendly staff and lots of interesting local products to buy. We went during lockdown so we could not stay but the ladies made an excellent egg sandwich and great cappuccinos for takeaway.

More of a farmstall that also serves some in-dining food and takeaways. A fun place if one is looking for something alternative with attitude. Nice farmstore shop.

Cute tiny little place to pitstop at. Not really much to buy. Their rose quartz is really cheap. R65 a bag.
