We're locals but first time here, best meal we've had out in a long time, freshly cooked with the right ingredients, stuffed peppers a winner, bravo.

Great stop during walk on Zante coast. Very friendly and home atmosphere. The food is home made style and very delicious. No need for fancy style, taste defends itself. Decent prices and lot of menu items to pick.

In our week in zakynthos we were walking and my friend needed the toilet so we asked the waiter who so kind let her go and called a taxi for us . After 2 days we came back for a dinner . We definitely made...a good decision. We had 3 starters 2 mains and one dessert for share ( this one was brilliant homemade ) bottle of wine soft drink and bottle of water all this for less than 65 euros. The service was great and our waiter was so happy that we came back for dinner . Nice and fresh fish and homemade plates !! We will come backMore

Greeted by friendly staff we immediately felt great. With a group of 12 people you’d expect some delay in getting your order, but as the second couple placed their order the first couple received their drinks. Very impressive service (big call out to the owner...and his son), awesome food (call out to the owners wife for her magical desert) and fair prices. We spent 6 days in Zakhyntos and we ate there 5 times! The owner is very nice and the atmosphere is great. The food is amazing!!! I had fish, Greek platter, calamari, meat platter. All of them so delicious. Price is very good for the...size of the portion. I normally don't go to the same restaurant but they choice of food was so big that we kept coming back:-)More

We just got home after 2,5h dinner or lunch or both...This was spectacular! Delicious food, wonderful service and great wine. Thank you for the experience, we’re coming back :) PS: the salad!!!! <3

If this was my first seafood platter in Zakynthos, I would probably have written a different review, however having experienced a few seafood restaurants on the island, it was difficult to enjoy our lunch at Spartakos in comparison. The seafood platters were not very generous...with only a few tiny lonely prawns on the plate, low variety and no sides. It was our friend's birthday lunch and we asked the waiter if they could arrange something special for him, however nothing came of it. If you want a touristy restaurant with a nice view of the harbour, this is a good option for you, however if you want an amazing seafood platter, go to Tsilivi or Kalamaki.More
