We visited on a very rainy evening, not realising that all tables were outside and not under cover.
Luckily our guest house room was equipped with kitchenette so we had two take aways, bottle of wine and they threw in a free waffle.
Pizzas were spot on, lovely thin base, cooked beautifully and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

What a fantastic informal venue so close to the beach with a great vibe and great food. We visited twice - once for dinner around a lovely big fire as it’s cold in SA in July and also for breakfast. Open air dining under the southern cross! Great service and reasonable prices. Great fresh artisan breads available for breakfast and to buy and best coffee! Ask the staff to point out the hidden walk to the mouth of the Kariega River and the beach. Stunning views and photo opportunity!!

We don’t often eat pizza but options were limited on a Monday night. This place seriously delivered. Tasty and crunchy thin-based pizza! Great music. Good vibes. Would come back.

Don’t arrive thirsty or hungry - firstly, you’ll do well to get any of the staff’s attention, and once you do, you’ll wait a couple hours. We arrived for dinner at 17:30, ordered by 17:45, and our food arrived at 19:30. That time waiting was spent getting up to order our own drinks at the bar, since our waitress couldn’t be bothered checking up on us. Not once did she come to ask if we needed anything after making our initial order. Certainly won’t be back

We visited Pizzarella and sat at the lookout area and the view over the Kenton’s Main Beach was absolutely spectacular.
We ordered our pizzas which was well prepared and delicious while we were eating and having our drinks watching the beautiful beach and sea.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the whole setting is beautiful and very rustic.

Tasty pizzas, waygu beef burgers and prego rolls. But the waffles were stodgy and tasteless. I think we may have been given gluten free waffles in error. But the rest was great. The location is amazing.

Have only tried the takeaway pizzas & look forward to having a sit down meal there soon. All excellent (including the staff). The only let down is the type / quality of the bacon used on the pizza that have bacon. Tiny little blocks that dry out fast & end up hard & chewy with just about no taste & creating an unpleasant texture. We just scraped these bits of bacon off
Otherwise a great venue with an original venue and the non bacon containing pizzas are really 1st class

This was our second visit, based on rave reviews from friends and locals. We live in a neighbouring town, but the drive was totally worth it. It's just one of those unexpected gems of excellence that define Africa. The pizza has a crispy, thin crust with a surprising variety of toppings. They are pizza specialists, but there are other dishes available. Artisanal bread of various kinds (multi-grain, seeded, rye, etc.) is available at reasonable prices and is made on-site. It's a good idea to take a loaf or two home on your way out. Parking can sometimes be a challenge during peak times, and it can get unbelievably busy for a place in such a small town, which tells you something about the food. We went at a very busy time, and we still got our pizza really quickly. The staff are friendly and seem to love their jobs. Seating is outdoor, but under cover, and there are tables with a view of one of South Africa's best beaches (which is ideal for a post-meal walk). If you're really lucky, the opera singer will be working, and you'll get to hear an aria or two.

Outdoor seating to die for and world class pizzas.
This is a perfect place to dine after a day at the beach, the pizzas are literally some of the best I've ever had in my life.
Great for a group of friends but check the weather before coming, most seating is outdoors.

Being a local in Kenton I love this place, I have had many catch up with friends old and new, for a quick coffee or a nice relaxed lunch. the best part is that I am able to bring Spot my pup along as I don’t really go anywhere without him anymore. Good pizza bring your own booze, amazing view and staff are always happy and helpful.
I love the fact that you can feel at home, and if you don’t feel like going out simply order a take away and enjoy it in the comfort of your own house or down on the beach just a short walk from their location.

Elvis and his small team run a lean operation where fetching your own drinks and cutlery is the norm. Great range of pizzas, happy to accommodate changes, and a magnificent view if you walk through the tunnel of trees at the end. Good prices, and even mozzie spray was available on request!

The chilled atmosphere and friendly staff made this a wonderful experience AND the pizza was OUTSTANDING. We had bacon, avocado, feta, the ocean harvest and the bacon, chilli and gorgonzola. All delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant, a must do in Kenton. Thank you

This is a no frills BYOB spot serving woodfired pizza with a few tables overlooking Kariega beach. The pizzas are thin based and were actually better than what we anticipated given that its a bit out the way and coming from Cape Town itself where there is plenty of good pizza. There are lots of options and even though I asked for several adjustments I was happily accommodated. The pizza was well priced and the ingredients fresh. Would definitely visit again. If you walk through the area under the trees there is a spot with 3 tables overlooking the beach...aim for those!

Ambiance is superb and world class for eclectic beach sophistication. Pizzas are 5 star - thin base cooked to perfection with fillings you can taste. We eat here whenever in Kenton and anyone visiting should not miss.

Top class food set in laid back beautiful setting . Definitely worth a visit . Pizza based are thin and crispy and chef is happy to accommodate any variables on your pizza , Gluten free bases available
