Don't miss out on this ramen! I visit Japan quite often and I eat ramen all the time but the ramen at ippudo was one of the best I had. I recommend adding extra chashu!

Such a great spot, delicious food, easy ordering, in and out quickly, but didn’t feel the need to rush, would happily visit again, and probably will on our trip.

Loved this meal. We were desperate to find somewhere for Ramen and this stop was perfection. Very friendly service and the most delicious Ramen. We went for super spicy and it was full of flavour. Grab a seat by the kitchen to watch all the...action!More

Worthy of the high rankings and the hype. Worthy of waiting in line to get in. Worthy across the board. Menu simple and classic with options. Ramen was very good. Get it with the gyoza for at least one at the table, easily shareable. The...extra spicy is real, real good and real spicy. Service was outstanding.More

Was in the mood for some good food. I found this place on TripAdvisor and just tried it out. There was a line but it didn't take me more then 7 min to get in. The menu was in Japanese but with pictures so it...was not too complicated to order something. I liked the soup and it was a great lunch with a cold beer. Definitely recommend this placeMore

I’ve been in Tokyo for 8 days and we’ve been to 10 ramen spots and while all were great, Ippudo in Roppongi was our favorite (only Ippudo we visited). I’m with my 13-yr old son who is a very picky eater.

If you are after great Ramen this is the place. The friendly staff will take your order and get you seated as soon as they can. We had standard spicy pork rather than extra hot and it had a great kick. The broth is awesome...and we left truly satisfied. We go every day if I could!More

Below average noodle… soup too salty … service staff is not friendly. Consistently with Ippudo standard worldwide. There are many better ramen stores in Japan !!! Skip at all cost.

Hakata ramen is usually my go to ramen in style, made with pork bone soup, hearty for a cold day. Ippudo is usually a good choice and a bit more upscale. Plus they offer three varieties not just the milky white soup base of Shio...(salt). The red option (adding spicy miso) and a spicy Tan Tan mien variation. The gyoza is also excellent.More

Best Ramen in Japan! (Or that I’ve come across). Super quick service and very efficient. Between 11am and 3pm on weekdays (I think - my Japanese is not great) for 100yen extra upgrade ramen to include rice and 5 Gyoza that are also delicious.

Love the Akamaru with extra noodles. Plus the bean sprouts are yummy. Go on off peak time if possible. This place gets busy and sometimes there can be a long wait time.

So popular with the local expats and younger Japanese that there's almost always a wait for a seat in this small and crowded, popular local noodle shop. But waits are rarely more than 10 minutes and what great noodles (ramen)! Big bowls of noodles (cooked...to your choice), vegetarian or meat-based, and some sides make a great, quick easy dinner. A place to take the kids of all ages, too; several families were there when we visited. Two big bowls of steaming noodles and 3 beers (500 Yen@) came to Yen 4,323 (or US$40). Just a few minutes' walk from Roppongi station on a small side street. Easy to spot by the waiting customers standing in the alley outside.More

Not really--no! The ramen's broth is definitely pork based. Only sides that were vegetarian were simply white rice and an egg (and then the random pickles, and sesame on the sides that you put on your ramen). I am not a... More
