About
We are a family destination on a working Jersey dairy farm, established in 1982. Sit on the verandah of the Farm Stall and enjoy our simple home-baked menu - we are told our coffee is great! We are proud of our new Cheese Tapas Menu. Freshly baked goodies, daily from our own Bakery. Homemade cheeses from our dairy, as well as a selection of SA cheeses. We make our own Ice Cream, Butter & Yoghurt. We stock local fresh produce, as well as wines from the area and a variety of SA Wines. Children are welcome to watch the cows being milked in the afternoons and our calves being fed. Natures Way Plant Nursery is now open and we stock a large variety of Indigenous Plants. Bunnies, goats, chickens and cats are all part of the experience! Farm Stay Accommodation is also available.

Absolutely love this farm stall. The sit down meal is always pleasurable & very yummy. Coffee is great. The home made produce on the shelves are to die for. Farm animals make for a totally country feel which it truly is. The nursery is one of the best stocked in the area with the most attentive & knowledgeable staff ever encountered at a nursery. Keep doing what you do Natures Way farm stall - we love you 😍☘️😍

This is lovely place to stop for everyone who appreciates fresh and not industrially made preserves, chees, pastry and much more.
And for those who love dairy products trying local milk is a must.
Fresh milk that comes directly from the beautiful cows is divine... long time ago I was drinking milk that tasted like that one in my grandmother place. I thought that I would not be able enjoying such milk again.
Old memories of my granny place came back.
What a treat.

Went up for breakfast and to fetch the cyclists as it was pouring with rain.
We sat outside and the staff were kind enough to bring the cyclists blankets as they were cold and wet.
The breakfast was really fresh and delicious and our waiter was also very accommodating with any special requests.
The Farm Stall is an absolute delight with fresh produce, jams, sweet treats and gifts.
Wanted to visit the nursery, but didn't get to it as it was raining too hard.
Definitely worth a visit!

We’ve just enjoyed a family breakaway at Nature’s Way. It was fabulous. The staff and owners are super-friendly, the accommodation is lovely, clean and filled with family memorabilia which makes it feel like a home from home, and the farm stall is legendary. You haven’t lived until you’ve tasted the Gorgonzola! The stay was extremely well-priced and it was good to see the animals so well looked after. We will definitely be back.

The Eats:
Veggie pies. The filling: butternut, peas and chickpeas. R31 each. They were the last two pies (we visited in the afternoon).
Zebra fudge for R10 a block
A tub of locally made yoghurt
Pros:
The pies were yummy. Perhaps a bit small
The zebra fudge was delicious
Loads of great looking goodies at the farmstall
The yoghurt was thick and creamy
Cons:
There weren't any other pies left.

gorgeous off the road spot to stop for delectables. great coffee, delicious carrot cake, scones, toast sandwiches that my 7 year old is still talking about! Fun play area, able to brush the goats. This is likely the best pad stall I've been to in SA. I can't wait to go back with my cooler box so I can stock up on some of their fresh produce....eggs, milk, cream, yogurt, ice cream, fresh baked goods etc! staff were hospitable and kind and we were invited to come back later to help feed the calves but were unfortunately not able to that time! next time for sure. Thank you Natures Way!

We loved this place and visited it more than once. We just couldn't help spending money here because everything was just so fresh and looked so appealing that we just couldn't resist. The food was scrumptious, the service good. The appeal of the chickens and the cats roaming around cannot be over-emphasized. And the produce available to buy is fresher than fresh and such a wide variety, everything you can think of from preserves, freshly baked scones and croissants, cakes and confectionery, fresh farm dairy products, fresh fruit and vegetables, preserves and a nursery etc. This place is more than worth the visit. Do not miss it!

Besides the fact we always enjoy our toasties made with homemade breads and produce, to see the team of watrons work together is fabulous! Watching AB the barista work is amazing … he absolutely knows exactly what he is doing on all hot and cold beverages. Well done Team … will see you again!

We visited there many times and have even stayed in their cottages. A real quality family run farmstall /dairy with friendly efficient waitrons. A setting which could be in Bavaria with cattle and high peaks set in the distance. The trump card [ no pun intended] of the place is the pig.

Dear theGrosses4U
Many thanks for your lovely review - we do hope in time to come we can have our accommodation open again. With this cold front, Formosa Peak Mountain has been covered in snow - true Bavarian style!
Kind regards

Always love stopping off at Natures way, always an interesting array of products on sales and for sure never come away empty handed. This time we did not stop for coffee and a snack but on previous occasions always an enjoyable break.
Well worth stopping off for a look and a break.

Nature's Way is much more than a 'farm stall'. They offer very comfortable and modern accommodation, good food at the restaurant and a well-stocked food shop. This is a working dairy farm, so expect mud, tractors and cows in the road. There are 'kindergarten' and 'nursery' paddocks where cows and their cute new-born calves can be interacted with. Food in the restaurant is tasty and well priced and service is good. Unfortunately the nature of the place does attract flies, which can be a nuisance, but it doesn't stop us from going back repeatedly whenever we are in the area.
