Spent 4 nights at Sumberkima Retreat and had food from Suma Restaurant everyday during our stay. The breakfast was excellent, can highly recommend the scrambled eggs on sourdough which comes with garlicky spinach and peppers. Also the ‘monkey business’ oats are delicious and they have...a good range of juices and smoothies. For lunch the chicken curry is a great option but they also have healthy bowls and wraps too. For dinner, the garlic mahi-mahi was the best dish by far - we had this every night! Thank you Suma Restaurant for the delicious food and great service.More

Let me admit, we find this restaurant just from reading their sign on the road. We were just passing by when we saw the arrow pointing to the villa and the word "Restaurant with 360° view" caught our attention. I googled the way and although...it is a bit challenging to arrive to the place (which is on high level). The road is small, only one vehicle can pass but it is a road. We use a big car (innova) and we made it here. The view is breathtaking. The foods taste good with vegan options and I am quiet surprised by the well reasonable price! For a good lunch with a nice view, the price is considered cheap Drinks start from 25 And food starts at 45 Before tax and services When we come here, the ambience is cool and the waiters are friendly! I recommend you to take a time to visit this hidden beauty and enjoy a good lunch with a view. Will definitely come back especially for their Healthy Green (their salad dish' name) Also when in Bali, don't forget to drink young coconuts! We ordered moringa pancake, the Healthy Green salad, and the margarita pizza with cashew cheeseMore

Nice view, the cocktail was not bad (although far from the best margarita I've ever had), service was okay.. then my beef burger came. it was the size of a kid menu, even a chubby 8 y.o. kid won't have enough with this size. It...came accompanied by one baked potato, cut on 5-6 pieces. Although my companion dish looked like a grown-up size, mine was just... small. I would suggest either to reconsider either the size or the price..so some grown-up can order two of those. BTW the burger was good. Just small. And I'm not a big guy at all.More

Sitting next to the edge of the restaurant overlooking the hill to the ocean, that's where you would want to sit while dining. Good selection of food here. Taste and price are reasonable.

We have stayed as a group of 4 people at summer kima hill, so we went a few times to Suma restaurant. The restaurant is amazing, the chef definitively know how to cook. Everything is super fresh. I would recommend to chose from the daily...special menu because every of those dishes were thrilling me most! Every meal was excellent! But also the standard card is very good too. The service is very nice and helpful. We had 2 vegetarians in the group and they also felt very welcome and had an amazing time! Thanks to the chef and whole team! We will come back!More

A fantastic experience. We had the restaurant recommended, and we came three evenings in a row even though we had to get transportation to the place every time. But no problem, the restaurant arranged it for us on a daily basis. The food was different...every day. We choose one of the two daily recommendation for a starter and for the main course that was written on a cardboard presented for you. Brilliant. The kitchen had an extraordinary quality. You just knew that the chef must be super talented and clever in what he was doing. The atmosphere was very nice and you felt that the staff knew what to do, and very importantly, liked to be working there. Furthermore, the prices were absolutely affordableMore

Came here the first night when staying at the hotel as we came quite late. Husband had the pulled pork with bbq sauce which had nothing to do with real pulled pork. It was just meat and half decent BBQ sauce. I had the fish...of the day which was ok. Both had the chocolate cake as a desert which was ok. All in all, average is the way to describe the evening. Prices didn’t meet with the standard of the food.More

Great restaurant with beautiful views over the valley and sea. Very friendly personal and tasty food. Every day they have different specials next to the menu. Personally I love the chili coconut curries (with generous portions of fish or shrimps) and if you really want...something else that’s not on the menu, the kitchen is always prepared to make it for you, like garlic butter shrimp or cassava soup.... yummee!More

Hmm. how can I say? My impression is obviously different from the rest of the trip advisor comments. We stayed two nights at one of the Sumberkima villas and wouldn't have minded to stay longer given the view and the very stylish architecture. But after...two dinners and one lunch we wouldn't have known what else to eat there for one more day. Well it's hard to rival the view and the staff is really kind. But the food is just somewhere in between average and boring. They say it's fusion kitchen. I would say it's just fusion menu. And the menu is small (So are the dishes, btw). American (Burger, pulled pork, Cesar salad), Italian (Pasta), Asian (Mie goreng, nasi goreng, curry and some changing dishes) Everything is prepared to meet everyone's taste (is this the fusion?) So it hasn't much to do with American food in the States, Italian food in Italy and not even with Indonesian food in Bali. You can order spicy as an extra, what brings chili to it, but still you will miss all the spices you might expect in Asia. Positive exception are some of the appetizers. And the obviously cook without salt (it's healthier, ok, but pasta boiled in plain water?) The food in some of the Warangs (i.e. Setia) in Pemuteran or in the Poleng restaurant at the Tamansari hotel is way better.More

We were staying in the hotel for 1 night. We both came away wishing we had longer because the Restaurant food was to such a high standard. Easily the best restaurant we visited in Bali. Everything was clearly made by a talented chef and served...by very good staff, dont be fooled by the menu being somewhat small, my partner had the curry which was exteremly tasty. I went for the special of the day which was Tuna and could have easily been on the Med as it was so well made. Highly recommendedMore
