Right on Main Road in Greenpoint, making it easy to find, this small bakery which provides some great breakfast options. The atmosphere is very typically Cape Town, nice and vibey, great for friends who just meeting for coffee and a pastry. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs and bacon on a croissant, croissant was baked almost to perfection maybe a little over baked for some, but perfect for me. Crispy and flaky on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Also had the Egg and Cheese in a Brioche. The brioche was done very well, nice and slightly sweet with an airy feel so it wasnt too dense. Was a little disappointed by the Masala Chai Latte, it just lacked something.

The croissants are ‘real’ and the pains au chocolats are divine. They use the best chocolate in the world nl. The Belgian Callebaut chocolate. Congratulations.. you bakers have the best taste. The coffees and eggs are very good and prepared to perfection. The service is very good also ! Thanks

This place is dangerous. Breads, pastries, savouries, excellent coffee and crispy pastel de Nata will tempt you and expand your waistline! A gourmet’s breakfast delight. Too many good things to make choice easy, but the mushrooms on toast are faultless. Impossible to beat.

We were just looking for coffee which was great. All the good muffins were already sold out by mid morning :( Rather noisy with the hubbub inside the cafe, the road noise and the road works, and music in the care. No cappaccino on menu but latte was good.

I went to Jason's Bakery for lunch. I had the pepperoni pizza which had a sourdough base. The base is paper thin and so so crispy. The hot honey with the pepperoni was a lovely combo. Some of the best pizza that I have had. I had a milktart donut as dessert and really regretted only buying one to eat later. There is not a lot of parking right in front of the bakery but there is a big parking lot across the road.

Like this place. Good vibe, good looking people hunched over Macbooks or in earnest conversations about their latest property development. Food is good, something for everyone from the calorific to what you used to eat before you stopped giving a godamn. Coffee is good as is the service.

Great for People Watching we stopped here for a quick bite and were not disappointed! Every member of the Team were very friendly and the service was quick and professional. They do the BEST range of delicious croissants (plain, almond, pan au choc etc.) so we decided to buy some additional to take with us as we left! Chicken & Salad in Ciabatta was also delicious! The great thing about Jason's is that they bake everything fresh every day on the premises ... their Chef/Bakery Team are fantastic as they really do know how to bake delicious breads, rolls, croissants ... and the cakes looked amazing ... Thanks to the whole Team ... & we WILL be back!!!

Lovely food and amazing pastry. But one thing which put us off is when the tall waitress asked me at the entrance for my name and then said "don't you have a better name?" so rude.

The bakery items are fabulous! They will ruin your diet but you won't care. This was our go to place for breakfast while in Cape Town. Loved the poached eggs and the hot chockie with the big marshmallow. Everything was super yummy. The service was always friendly and I enjoyed the graphics on the black & white wall mural that featured a croissant with devil's horns. Fun atmosphere.

Ken was a fabulous waiter, giving friendly, attentive service. It was fun seeing all the delicious foods passing by. We will try the sourdough pizzas next time.

Always a pleasure to visit. Had breakfast. Well worth it. Get there early or you won't get a seat. Staff efficient and friendly.

I had high expectations from my friends past visit - but what a let down. Thee attempts to get the food right. Three attempts to get my tea right. Really poorly trained staff, no proper systems for ordering - and the ensuing chaos of sending food and drink back. We end up paying 460r. When I left the restaurant, I thought that we were overcharged for things that never came - but my fault for not checking. The food, just ok. Nothing special. The toasted sourdough tasted like it was cooked earlier. The cake was nice. Don’t make the mistake I made - check your bill. Maybe eat elsewhere unless you are after a lovely cake. I always leave a tip - but not this time.
