Beautifully sent restaurant in the Riebeeck Valley. Had an excellent lunch. Best lamb burger ever with good wine and salads

Lovely setting in the middle of Riebeek-Kestrel. The Seafood Pasta was delicious, and oh my word their home made ice cream is some of the best we've had anywhere. Add attentive service and you have somewhere that really is top of its game..

This must be one of the best restaurants in the region, the filet mignon with creamy pepper sauce was prepared as I like it. My wife’s lamb shank was one of the best lamb shanks she ever eaten, a substantial helping so both of us...had “doggy Bags”. A glass of Kloovenburg Shiraz was not bad with the lamb. To start, we were served crispy and very thin pizza with olives on it. Also impressive that two non-alcoholic beers were available, both Becks and Castle, very unusual and very appreciated. Service very attentive and nice seating outside with space between the tables. We will definitely be back, a drive from Cape Town is not that far and well worth the journey.More

We popped in on a quiet Wednesday. The Calamari and Creamed Mussels were exceptional. Friendly service and great location. Thank you.

This is one of the best restaurants in the region, which we have visited a few times already for lunch. My wife's lamb shank was large, delicious and very well presented - even to the extent of stalks of broccoli on the side. Even my...basic chicken burger was delicious, with the chicken grilled expertly, with a lovely BBQ basting and crispy thin chips - again a substantial helping. And to start we were served with a crispy thin pita with some olives on it. All in all, a meal well worth the drive from Cape Town.More

Food was so so. Calamari lacked flavour. Somewhat bland. Hake nicely done. Chips from a frozen pack. Service great.

On a visit to Riebeek we decided to have a light lunch....after several attempts we found that Bay Leaf and Thyme had a generator.... The service was good and the thin based Pizza's very tasty.... Will return next time we are in the area

I had the Bay Leaf breakfast with all the trimmings and my partner had the French toast. My scrambled eggs was done to perfection, light and just moist enough! My partners French toast was soft and the bread used freshly baked. Proper coffee! We will...be back!More

Food and service, really not great if you are looking for something fresh (beef burger patties certainly not made from scratch) I would not recommend this if you are a foodie. The location of the space is fantastic and can be one of the best...in the town if they work on friendly service and good fresh food ingredients.More
