On a visit to Riebeek we decided to have a light lunch....after several attempts we found that Bay Leaf and Thyme had a generator.... The service was good and the thin based Pizza's very tasty.... Will return next time we are in the area

I cannot wait to get down there to experience what my so many people already raved about. From the service to the food.

I had the Bay Leaf breakfast with all the trimmings and my partner had the French toast. My scrambled eggs was done to perfection, light and just moist enough! My partners French toast was soft and the bread used freshly baked. Proper coffee! We will...be back!More

Food and service, really not great if you are looking for something fresh (beef burger patties certainly not made from scratch) I would not recommend this if you are a foodie. The location of the space is fantastic and can be one of the best...in the town if they work on friendly service and good fresh food ingredients.More

A group of four - 3 had Fillet and I had the crayfish tails. I could taste the sea in the most delicious crayfish that I have for years. The other three raved about the fillet , which was done to perfection. 10/10 to the...chef and staff. We will definitely be backMore

Welcomed by very friendly but ever so professional staff. The decor is great and stylish with the best patio in town, only later discovered the inside seating is just as excellent if not better and big plus airconditioned! Service and food was 5star hotel quality...and as a fellow restaurant owner we were shocked at how affordable their whole menu is which caters for every taste. Will most certainly be back! 🙌🏻🥂More

We arrived too early for lunch and were offered the breakfast menu, but when we requested an early lunch ,Warren our waiter went to ask the chef and we were willingly accommodated. We both had their burgers which were delicious and served with a side...of your choice. Bonus was the complimentary garlic and feta pizza which arrived for a starter. It was excellent. Coffee was also of a good quality and with prompt service and early lunch accommodated, we can highly recommend Bay Leaf and Thyme.More

We went here after the festival. Although the restaurant was full, the service was excellent. I had the rib eye steak which was well grilled. The live band of local musicians was first class, and had everyone dancing. A fabulous evening was had by my...friends and I.More

Not a good start as my wife tripped and fell over a brick step at the entrance which was difficult to see in fading light. But the staff and manager were most concerned and helpful and luckily no damage was done. The food (pizza, and...mussels in white wine & garlic sauce) was top notch, helped along with a glass of complementary wine from the manager. The wine list Itself was excellent and astoundingly good value, showcasing many local producers. I would like to have seen a local craft beer or two on the list though. Service from Vanessa was prompt, friendly and efficient. All in all most satisfactory and I would not hesitate to return on our next visit.More
