This is the place to buy cake from. Wow I must say, you won't be disappointed. Been living in Paulpietersburg for only a year and visited this beautiful place once and I was surprised. I recommend it to anyone thats passing through or visiting our...town to make a turn at the Wishing Well.More

Have stopped here a few times over the years and the food is good and reasonably priced. In my opinion they can do better still. The fruit juice for example should be real fruit juice and not a syrup mixed with water. Also look at...adding a few trimmings on the plates with the mains. My wife wanted something simple, just a pie, and that's all she got on the plate, no small side salad, no chips or salad. Just pick things up a level guys. You are well placed on the main road and have a good opportunity. Don't drop the ball.More

On our way to Piet Retief we found this place. The staff is very friendly. Surprised to find a number of German breads and meats here. Plus some creative gifts basically in one place/shop. We loved the home made cakes.

Quaint shop with lots of different rooms and plenty of variety. Very nice to browse and easy to spend. Good concept. Had breakfast in the garden at the back which was nice and good value. Service was not good. Waiters only visible to take the...initial order and then serve it. Then they disappear and you don't see them otherwise - when we wanted something else we had to go looking for someone .More

Authentic German food and novelties. So nice relaxing here, order delicious food whilst you walk around and see all the nice things they have to offer. I like the fact that every time you go there, there are new things to see and enjoy. Delightful...and affordable.More

On route from Durban to Johannesburg, we visited this popular cosy coffee shop in Paulpietersburg. We found many hand made gifts here that it is like a little shop in paradise. I am sure you can do all your gift shopping here as the variety...is so big. We had a nice hot cup of coffee and tea on a drizzling winter's day and took a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich for the road. The portion of cheese and tomato was very generous and it was good value for money; not expensive at all. There is seating inside and in the garden. The parking is on the side of the main road which we thought wasn't a good idea. The surface was not even everywhere, in fact there was a huge pothole where we wanted to park and we had to park even further away. There was no car guard.More

This is a very interesting little coffee shop with a lot of bric a brac to browse through as well. They also serve light lunches and have a nice garden to sit in and watch the birds. Definitely recommended for the atmosphere and to take...a break on the long drive from the coast.More
