We were warmly welcomed as locals. It was conveniently located very near to our hotel, but we drove and had no trouble finding parking. Our waiter was very helpful, giving us suggestions of the best traditional dishes to try.
Most amazing trataría in Caserta only 20 min away from Napoli! Pasta ragú Napolitana is excellent, purpette ❤️, o tried for the first time meloncello it was wonderful! Thank you Lucca for an excellent service👏🏻
Every time I go back to visit my mum (she lives 2 mins away) we go to Trattoria Pepe almost every day. This place is unique, a little hidden gem with fresh ingredients and the most amazing guests service. The owners will welcome you in...the warmest way, they are so charming and genuine. Despite the fact they don’t speak fluent English, I’ve witnessed tourists being treated like family with plenty of laughs. If you’re visiting Caserta, you must go to Trattoria Pepe. It’s part of the Southern Italy experience. Can’t wait to go back in September and take my English partner here for the first time!More
This restaurant was just 5 minutes walk from our hotel so we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was all home made. We started with our antipasti of fresh seafood and aubergine paramaggio. Excellent. The pasta course we're...spaghetti sea food and beans and mussels. Again excellent. All washed down with an excellent local red wine. We finished off with expresso and lemoncello. All for 45 euros.More
This place is amazing! Down home, friendly, and authentic. It's tucked away but is definitely worth the search. The pasta, amazing, sauce, amazing, service, amazing. These guys are doing it right. Anytime I am near here I'm going to find them. So friendly and authentic...is hard to come by but they are the real deal.More
Stopped here on the drive from Rome to Almafi after reading the great reviews. The restaurant has a calm family vibe where the staff all worked together to provide excellent service. We may have been the only tourists, but did not feel out of place....The food was absolutely amazing, probably one of the best we had in Italy on this trip. The portions are massive, we struggled to finish it with a nudge from the what I presume owner. If I am ever in the area I will be there again in a heartbeat.More
We were just looking for a place to eat near our hotel and this was close so we walked in, 10 minutes before opening. The host sat us anyway and brought us a glass of wine and some snacks. At opening, he answered several questions...about local items on the menu and was very helpful and kind and humorous. The food and wine were outstanding, and we ended the meal taking photos with the server, manager and another server. We'll go out of our way to eat here next time we're in the region. Grazie, Pepe..More
