A pleasant Sunday afternoon with good food and entertainment in the form of a solo guitarist / singer. Great braai menu of local fish and seafood. Small play park for kids. Friendly service.

As Americans just beginning our vacation, we wandered in after driving from Central Cape Town, stressed from driving on the opposite side of the road, and enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant lunch with a helpful staff and friendly locals at one of the outdoor tables; exactly...More

Beer-battered hake just tops, every meal (of many by now) we've had was worth it. Good value for money (specially the winter specials, thanks!), and always good service. We prefer the open-air outside seating, a bit too 'pubbish' inside for us, but Fisherman's has become...More

Always guaranteed a good fish and chips at the Fisherman's. Good music on the weekend and always sport to watch. Great outside area and if you don't mind the decor being a bit well worn (adds to the character) then this is a place to...More

We stayed nearby for the weekend and was looking for a local restaurant. The rugby was on in the pub area, but there is a dining area just off the pub. My husband had a burger and i had the fish and chips. Both were...More

This is a laid back venue for locals and visitors at this seaside village part of Cape Town. Portions are big and currently have midweek specials for pizza. They serve fish, ribs and the like but somehow the chips and milkshakes (especially coffee) are what...More

It was one of those Sunday afternoons where you just want to relax, not think about the new week, eat and listen to some music...... and surprisingly the food was good and the music was better than expected as well...
