Great pub in a lovely setting. Great food, really friendly staff and often have locals in there so feels like a "proper" pub too. Beautiful decor in the main dining room and lovely in the bar too, with a huge inglenook fireplace. Love it, would...highly recommendMore

The mains were OK, my mother loved the sea bass. However, the cheesecake was obviously defrosted and the sticky toffee puddings and spotted dick were microwaved. I suspect all bought from the supermarket. Shame. Food was great two years ago.

Give it a swerve people!! Awful food. It is one of the worst meals out i have ever had!! Tough, fatty and bland pork belly, just how it shouldn't be!! Never ever again!! My husband liked The Boot as a place to visit for a...drink but we will never give them our custom again.More

The ambience in the pub was good and the service was also fine. However, overall the food was pretty awful. My calamari starter was very good but my wife's chicken goujons were almost burnt. The main meal was pretty bad. Again roast potatoes were burnt-...had to leave half of them. The beef was over done almost impossible to cut. The vegetables were iffy but drinks were good.More

Wednesday night is ‘Steak Night’ and this is one evening not to be missed. Two sirloin steaks for £20 or two rib-eye steak for £25 plus a bottle of wine for an additional £15! The meal couldn’t be faulted and the service was excellent. Great...village pub and one we will certainly return to whenever we visit our daughter in Soulbury. Highly recommended.More

The pub is under new management, and you can tell. We enjoyed an excellent pub lunch with fresh fish and attentive staff. We have been customers here for around 20 years and it's never looked better. Prices are realistic, too. Congratulations to the team and...nice to be bqck.More

This was one of the best evenings out in a longtime! A few friends and I visited this evening and Eva took GREAT care of us, made amazing cocktails and always checked in on us. Zak the chef was outstanding. Food came out perfect including...scallops, steak and hunters chicken - everything came cooked and seasoned perfectly. Wanted to name them personally as it didn’t feel we were just ‘any other customer,’ we felt like locals even it being our first time. Highly recommended.More
