I had booked and paid a non refundable deposit of £500 for a group. We are spending our time mostly golfing but decided we would have day drinking on the beach and because we had visited before, this is where we had decided to do...so.
When i have been before, i had been struck at the cleanliness and the more relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Much more enjoyable than other nearby equivalents that are poor value and pretentious. The food and drinks have always been of a high standard and the service excellent, with friendly and laid back staff which contribute to your enjoyment of the facilities.
Now where these guys have really impressed me is that since the outbreak of CV-19 virus, our travel plans were up in the air and we had experience difficulty with moving our plans with golf clubs, hotels and our flight operators.
Each time i contacted Sala, they responded quickly and politely and offered a number of options so that we could move our booking, despite the terms actually stating that it was a non refundable and non transferable booking.
This is how businesses should be. CV19 is an unprecedented challenge to all business, especially in tourism and leisure and the temptation to simply absorb non refundable bookings must be tempting, however the management here understand that in order to recover you must have customers on the other side that want to come back.
Im incredibly impressed with the way that your business has dealt with us personally through this uncertain time and you have gained a loyal customer who will always aim to come and spend time here , whenever i visit the area each year.
