Had high hopes for this day of our friends hen do but we’re unfortunately let down. 13 of us had the beds in front of the club - not worth the money. Service incredibly slow for drinks. Half our group waited over 2 hours for...food. Food arrived with raw chicken, raw chips and cold burgers. Over 8euro for bottles of water and not allowed your own water despite the heat. Complained to the manager who didn’t seem that bothered. Offered no discount but gave us some slushy cocktails as an apology. Will not be attending again.More

The stand out from my visit was the staff! I didn’t get their names but from the guy in the blue top that showed us to our beds, the lovely Guy in blue top with the Irish accent, to the gorgeous Spanish girl who did...not stop all day, I’ve been to beach clubs before and found the staff to be stuck up and stand offish but they were all warm and friendly, efficient and hardworking at La Sala By The Sea. We had a great day. Vibe was good, music and sax great and dancers fab! Good Dine and Recline deal as well.More

An amazing lunch treat. Not the sort of place we frequent as usually very OTT! But a lovely surprise. A very interesting menu oh what to choose? We actually decided on the set 2 course menu for €20 pp. Wow. Had an added small sushi...plate to start as we thought it'd be small portions. How wrong we were. The sushi was delicious fresh and perfect. We both then had chicken satay the sauce was homemade and we got to full skewers of chicken with a tiny Asian garnish. Next came a huge plate of chilli garlic prawns in an amazing spicey 🍅 salsa I counted 8 big juicy prawns. I couldn't finish all mine but it was so tasty. I drank a delicious Pimm's and husband had non alcoholic ginger beer which he said was very good. A very nice couple of hours spent with great attentive service. Shame a couple of tables ( English holiday makers) were rude to the staff moaning about having to wear masks to move around the restaurant also shame that men's tops aren't compulsory to wear when eating. Guys you don't all have great bodies!!More

I had booked and paid a non refundable deposit of £500 for a group. We are spending our time mostly golfing but decided we would have day drinking on the beach and because we had visited before, this is where we had decided to do...so. When i have been before, i had been struck at the cleanliness and the more relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Much more enjoyable than other nearby equivalents that are poor value and pretentious. The food and drinks have always been of a high standard and the service excellent, with friendly and laid back staff which contribute to your enjoyment of the facilities. Now where these guys have really impressed me is that since the outbreak of CV-19 virus, our travel plans were up in the air and we had experience difficulty with moving our plans with golf clubs, hotels and our flight operators. Each time i contacted Sala, they responded quickly and politely and offered a number of options so that we could move our booking, despite the terms actually stating that it was a non refundable and non transferable booking. This is how businesses should be. CV19 is an unprecedented challenge to all business, especially in tourism and leisure and the temptation to simply absorb non refundable bookings must be tempting, however the management here understand that in order to recover you must have customers on the other side that want to come back. Im incredibly impressed with the way that your business has dealt with us personally through this uncertain time and you have gained a loyal customer who will always aim to come and spend time here , whenever i visit the area each year. I hope you all stay safe and well and we are now looking forward to our visit in July.More
