The best coffee, breakfast and service! Our waitress was extremely friendly and the food was prepared to perfection. I even bought a bottle of the hot sauce to take back home with me!

We love Linga Lapa - this is our favourite stop on the N3 - the coffee is excellent and the breakfast is top class - a real wholesome English breakfast !! The food inside the shop is great - best pies ( no heartburn )...!! We also love the freshly baked home Made breads and selection of wine and treats .More

Besides being very conveniently situated for trips from just about anywhere in KZN, FS or Gauteng to anywhere in KZN, Gauteng and the FS, Linga Lapa has developed a fabulous reputation for its friendliness, its interesting shop that stocks quality locally mad clothing and footwear,...and stacks of browse-through goods. Linga Lapa's food shop has excellent local meats and home-cured biltong. There is a "cool" restaurant and - if the occasion warrants it - a boma with fire and braai-ing facilities. Excellent for group gatherings. The extra-tall owner Ian and his lanky son Matt are genuine old-country KZN folk who go out of their way to give everyone who stops here, a friendly smile and a chat. This is one of the Gems of the KZN Midlands.More

One of my favorites. Always a lovely experience visiting Linga Lapa. The cappuccinos are excellent, I had a delicious fresh savory muffin. Their shop has a huge variety of home made goodies to buy, the meat is always first class, try their boerewors.

We stopped in at Linga Lapa to pick up some local produce for a braai with friends. The selection of meat was fantastic, we were spoilt for choice and quality. Their biltong is the best in the Midlands.

Excellent experience for dinner last December (excuse the tardiness of this review!). Owner and partner very welcoming. Most interesting venue (many features of the original building retained). We'll go again!

The lovely rustic decor of the restaurant gives one a peek into the activities of the local folk. The welcome is friendly and genuine, and the service is very good. My husband and I were in the mood for a good hamburger, and the restaurant...did not disappoint. All their meat is homegrown and of the highest standard. Their hamburger and chips was really delicious, and the prices are very reasonable! We will be back.More

This is by far the best shop and deli to stop at when traveling. The range of food and delicacies which include vegan and Mediterranean are really good. Also freshly baked bread, meat, cheese and preserves. Good place to stock up on farm fresh groceries...for the holiday while you wait for your food to be served.More

The place is not nice when you enter. It gives you the idea of old and run down. But the food is really good which is what one wants in a restaurant. The service was average and the wait long - like in many restaurants...in this area.More

I attended a birthday party for about 50 people at Linga Lapa. Our function was in the boma area with a separate bar set up. Very rustic great atmosphere with a fire in the centre!.We had a great time. The place is spotless. Service excellent....The staff and owners are friendly and hospitable. Last but most definitely not least, the food. The best steak, ribs, sausage, chicken kebabs EVER.Side dishes also awesome. Great quality , delicious food and certainly enough!
