Ocean Basket Welkom Metro Village - Menu, Prices & Restaurant Reviews

Yes, it's a chain but what a great place to get wonderful fish and seafood in Welkom! It's been almost 2 years since I reviewed OB so thought it was time to update. We took some friends there today and had the most wonderful dinner....The server was well trained and very eager to meet our needs. He was not pushy or hovering but stayed in the distanced and looked our way often to ensure we were well cared for. Of course, the food was the star of the show. Great seafood and sides expertly prepared by those guys and gals behind the scene. The OB has made some very nice improvements over the past couple of years. You will get a great meal here. Most of the time you see the owner/manager sitting at a table but not tonight. Thanks Welkom OB for the great experience. One of the best restaurants in Welkom.More

a day not to be forgotten

i real enjoyed the sea food at ocean basket welkom metro village, it was delicious. it is only veggies that i did not enjoy since they were little bit fatty.More

My son 21st birthday

Sitting on deck with relaxing atmosphere. Food was really great. Great waiter, owner visit the table.

Ambiance

we regularly visit the Ocean Basket in Welkom. One of the best places to eat. Love the new patio and layout. Well planned renovations with the least inconvenience. You guys rock. service excellence and quality food.More

DISSAPOINTMENT

I have always loved to take my family to Ocean Basket to enyoy some seafood but unfortunaty have to say the past two (2) times was a huge dissapointment to me as the food was no more as good as I use too. Lately I...am looking at alternative restaurants to take my family to. I really hope Ocean Basket will rectivy this shortcomming.More

A huge revamp is due soon.

Best Service in Town

You will never be disappointed at this Ocean Basket. The staff treats you like family and is always very polite and fast. I have never had problems with the food. And the floor manager will always check on all the customers. Thank you ocean basket

Family Dinner

We had a very enjoyable experience, the welcoming was nice and the food, service and atmosphere was really great. The only negative part is that the trainees are a bit over eager to clean up the tables, constantly around the table to take away dishes,...some of which are still being used, we trust that you would attend to this.
