I whish I had more time to spend there and had something to eat, but I had a cruise and still a bit to drive.
I came there to refill my stocks of cheese.
A small selection of localy produced cheese and from other farms from the area.
I would have bought more if it was less expensive. The cheese was a bit pricey.

We sere they for lunch and decided to order their pizza, word around town was they had nice ones on offer, and they were right they were great. Only issue was the vast amount of cheese, guys just too much!!! The venue was a nice treat away from the sea.

This was a very pleasant unexpected find. It was very popular. They served many meals with huge portions. Great to browse around too.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from the park. The food was ok, but the service was terrible. The animals on the property are not well cared for and they're hoarded into tiny pens with no space. It's a pretty depressing sight.

We drove past the signs saying "BEST Pizza, and had to see for ourselves! We were thoroughly impressed! The pizza arrived shortly after ordering and was packed with toppings and super tastey!!! Highly recommended to Pizza lovers!

Stopped by on the way to St Lucia because of the signage on the road. Your usual “farm-style” store with nothing really much on offer – certainly not many cheeses. You’d be better off at your local Woolies. Only bought a cold drink and a chocolate but the short interaction with the young lady behind the till was unpleasant. Not sure if she’s the owner’s daughter - of which there are so many complaints about in this forum – but yes, she definitely needs a career change! May I suggest veterinary medicine?

The kids loved it, with the farm animals and the playground it kept them busy for hours. We enjoyed our food and it was very fresh it was just a bit of disappointing with a lot of the items on the menu not being available, but else wise a very lovely place and will surely take my kids there again.

It is a very beautiful family atmosphere. The kids have a lovely beautiful play area. Beautiful souvenirs purchased at the gift shop. The restaurant had the most delicious and divine wood fire pizzas. I ate to my hearts content. I felt like a kid again going to this beautiful destination.

As well as the lovey cheese, the pizzas were really good option. Lots to keep the children entertained while parents can relax with great look out views. Great family stop especially with young children. Lovely staff. Great shop with LOTS of lovely things to buy, great variety. Cheese and sauces for tasting. Good place to stock up on cheeses and yummy things. Lovely visit.

Visited the Cheese/animal Farm on Mothers day. Delightful place situated deep in the woods off the R618 between Mtuba and St Lucia. Friendly staff and a typically cosy farm style restaurant with inside and outside seating. We had breakfast which was delicious. My daughter had a pizza which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Variety of animals and games providing lots of exciting entertainment for the Kids. Interesting cheese making tour demonstrating how cheese is actually made, from start to finish. Will definitely go back.

When we entered the little shop, I did not have high expectations, as the young woman behind the counter was not friendly nor welcoming. (She will benefit from rethinking her career?)
As we went outside to sit on the deck, a waitress came out to meet us and give us menu's. She, together with a tastefully presented cheese board, saved the day. We enjoyed a laid back lunch with beautiful views and a fresh breeze.

Stop and have a meal because ,from there cheese board to the Eisbein, the food is brilliant....good wholesome family meal. It's like being at home with the family dogs and goats and chickens and turkeys and horses....very nice

I drove here today after a busy morning in Mtubatuba, and it's like a different world. ..relaxing, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and with an obvious love for spirituality and for animal welfare. The deck next to the swimming pool is great because you get THE most amazing view towards the coast and the sand dunes. Below the deck are enclosures with goats, ducks and geese plus horses that you're welcome to engage with.
The best thing of all was the lemon meringue pie! It's the best I've ever eaten! Highly recommended for an hour or two in our hectic lifestyle. Definitely worth the little drive it takes to get there.

I was not impressed in any way with this place . When I arrived I went out on there patio deck and waited . Instinct said leave . Should have listened . Anyway a waitress eventually came out to bring meals to other people and I waved to her for attention. She disappeared and another waitress came . I was there for 15 minutes already . Ordered drinks and waited and waited . I took a walk around the place and went back to my table . Eventually some cold dish Water which was supposed to be cappochino arrived . I then ordered a burger and waited and waited . I couldn't wait any longer so went inside to the till where the owners daughter worked and asked if I could cancel the meal . Immediately this child raised her voice and said she would check if the food was ready and went off. Came back with owner /mother who was very aggressive telling me that they had a big party of people there and my meal was imminent . I asked for it as a take away and asked how long to complete . 5 minutes I was told . So I waited again .I couldn't wait anymore so elected to pay for the meal leave it And go . I asked this child at the till how much I owed her to leave the food which I would pay for so I could leave . This kid blew up . Swearing like a sailor she stormed out the room screaming like a banshee she ran out . I followed and found the owner . I told her all I want is to pay and leave . She gave me my burger (see photo?) I paid and left. Friends of mine have had a similar experience there . I would never suggest this place to my enemy never mind friends .

I have heard about the cheese farm and was looking forward to our visit. The setting is lovely and there is a great children's play area and a little track for pushbikes. There is a little shop selling nicknacks and some animal housing situated down below the playarea. The food was good, my hubby reported that he has had better Dagwoods and didn't like the meat patty used. My steak was fine. The service was not great though. The order was bungled which meant that the adults got their food and the kids didn't..... nonetheless the waitress came and apologised and this happens. What I take issue with is being charged a R10 entrance fee and then still being expected to pay for putt putt and animal food. When one pays an entrance fee one expects to then have access to all the amenities. We went for lunch, which we paid for, and the prices were I would say restaurant prices. I don't pay an entrance fee to eat at other restaurants. To then have to pay yet again to play putt putt and then for a bag of animal food smacks a little of greed. Either charge an entrance fee or for the other things, but not both. To add fuel to the fire, the Owner placed the bill on our table which had the wrong table number at the top and was for R250 more than we had actually spent! The lady at the till was very sweet and we worked out the actual amount together however no word or apology came from the Owner. A stop by the table with perhaps a "hi, I'm so sorry I hear there was an error on the charging of your bill" would have been nice. As lovely as the setting is, the feeling of being taken advantage of means I will not be rushing back there.
