We found this place recommended on this website, and they didn’t disappoint. Great layout and decoration of the premises, fantastic staff whom made us feel very welcomed, and of course the food was delicious. My husband Giles and I had a wonderful evening at Remy’s last night while on our week away in Hastings….the food was superb and the staff warm, friendly, and very welcoming! Its obviously hugely popular as it was the only place that was full on...a Thursday evening on a damp day, but we weren’t hurried at all and had plenty of time (and space) to really enjoy our food and drinks at a leisurely pace. I had the king prawn pad Thai (delicious and as good as the last one I’d had which was a few years back in Singapore) and Giles had the adobong manok (a traditional chicken dish of the Philippines ) which he declared was the best dish he’s eaten all year! if you have the opportunity to visit, don’t miss out on this lovely gem of a cafe/restaurant…. Were only sorry we’re leaving HastHastings today because apparently, the Sunday roasts are to die for!More

We enjoyed a Saturday evening at this charming restaurant. The food was good, although perhaps not as fantastic as some reviews have painted, but service friendly and helpful. I would go there again.

Spending a week’s holiday in the area did some restaurant investigations. Read the reviews on Remy’s and booked for dinner and Sunday lunch as the roasts sounded amazing. We were not disappointed. The Philippine dishes were utterly delicious. We ate with huge pleasure and lots...of mms and mmmmms. Sunday roast equally delicious with so many tasty and crunchy veg. As if this is not enough of an expression of our delight the icing on the cake is the air or tranquility generated by Remy and John which creates a beautiful and unique atmosphere in which to relax and eat. Thank you both.More

Fab food, staff, settings and music! Nothing not to like about the gorgeous restaurant. I've been twice now, once for lunch, once for dinner and the food was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Starting with friendly and attentive service, our visit become a really exciting culinary adventure of truly delicious dishes. The cooking was really impressive: rich, flavoursome and delicious. I can highly recommend the Adobong Manok - a chicken dish with fascinating sweet and savoury notes and...the Mango Cake which is just unbelievably good. This place is an absolute gem. Highly recommended.More
