The most amazing carrot cake and apple cake. Stopped for a quick coffee and cake and it was delicious! Lovely spot to sit and very clean. Convenient pause while refuelling. I’m sure the other food is good too but we just had time for a coffee. We didn’t stay but there’s a camp and it looked well cared for and clean. There’s a shop with bits too.

we were sort of in a hurry when we passed betta. it caught us by surprise. layout is great. small camp in the middle of nowhere, old cars on display. we took a moment to enjoy the area. but it was a bit desolated, because, you know not the best times for travels.

We stopped at Betta to fill the car up, and had a quick food shop plus a burger to eat. Very friendly and a really useful place to know about when you are travelling South.

They have very clean toilets, a well-stocked shop and a neat little restaurant where you can enjoy lunch or coffee while you are topping up your fuel at the service station. Ice cream for the kids also on hand!

Located in a very pretty corner, this place offers a very well maintained cafe, lawn, petrol station and I believe also a camping. The young couple made me feel very welcome. Excellent coffee and cake. Recommended !

This is the place to remember when thinking about drive from/to Sossusvlei. There is gas station, even camping and for us a shop and ice cream with friendly service. We have had good breakfast and decided not to have lunch yet - later we wondered why...

Nice and clean rest ablutions, but very noisy at night at camping site. Lots of dogs roaming and barking, and lots of Lorry traffic on the road that runs close to the camping site.

We stopped here to refuel our car and take a break for half an hour enjoying our Ice Cream. The Rest Rooms are always clean and tidy and the staff very helpful and friendly with serving the customers and also with giving information to tourists. I always look forward for our little break at Betta and their Delicious Ice Creams.

This stop has it all. Friendly staff helped us find our way to the Greenfire Desert Lodge. Clean bathrooms and picnic areas to have a respite.

Only stoped for fuel but found local people very friendly and keen to assist.
Fuel attendent best we had come across in some time.
Toilets clean too.

If you are coming out of a very dry landscape and find your way to Betta you should stop there, fill up your fuel and enjoy the garden and have a drink. We also got an icecream out of the well sorted shop. Then you can relax a bit a start over. A short chat with the blonde lady owning the restaurant and we went on. Always on our track through the south-west of Namibia. In the meantime they also offer the clean diesel (50ppm).

Really had a good few nights at Betta, good stocked shop an feul available! Friendly service!! Make sure you have enough cash as they do not have card facilities or ATM.

We did not camp out in Betta rather were driving a long way toward Namtib and was looking for a place to get a bite to eat.
Betta was a sleepy little place with nothing else but this camping area with a kiosk and a gas station. Kiosk had a good selection of items useful for camping. The little restaurant or dining area had a blackboard showing what they served and also indicated that they had daily breakfast and dinner.
We ordered a burger and bratwurst. Considering Betta seemed to raise a lot of animals, I expected a juicy hamburger, but it was not the case. Bratwurst however was better. The kiosk also had Magnum ice cream, which we enjoyed.
Glad Betta existed there for the travelers for refueling themselves and their vehicles.
