We were passing by and stopped for lunch. Not knowing what to expect. It is a very basic restaurant but perfect with kids as service is very friendly and there is a little outside playground for kids. We took the antipasti which were good but...the pasta dish was fabulous. Extremely simple and without any unnecessary distraction just cooked to perfection in its simplicity. Wow. Worth a stop.More

Fantastic restaurant serving delicious food and wine. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. The bill came to €59 for a family of four...this included three courses and plenty of drinks. Great evening, lovely hosts and outstanding value for money.....highly recommended!

So we were in Puglia for ten days, hitting all the spots you would expect: Otranto, Lecce, Gallipoli. Two days before leaving we hit upon Le Romanelle, a Roman trattoria that blew us away. We live in Rome and this place just blew most of...the Roman restaurants we know out of the water. The appetizers were sublime and the pasta, oh man, we're still talking about two weeks later. And the other reviewers are absolutely spot-on: Virginia and her husband are two of the sweetest people you would ever want to have cook for you. The trattoria itself is beautiful with a small park for kids. The food, the owners, the colors, what can I say? Absoutely not to be missed.More
