The place looks fine although the music was hard. We weren’t into pizza so ordered codfish and roasted pork ribs. In stead of codfish they served mixed fried fish and my pork ribs were not roasted but came out of the microwave. So I can...imagine that the pizza is great and better stick to that!!More
Visited twice during stay. Didn't realise till 2nd visit that they had a English version menu so first meal was a bit hit and miss. Basically had a plateful of cut meat.
Having said that had lovely bruschtata which was delicious
Skafe was recommended by our B&B and we ended up coming here several times during our stay. The staff is very friendly, they offer an english menu and though not everyone speaks english, communication worked fine (google, hands and feet). Skafe offers a delicious and...crunchy meter or half-meter pizza so can choose different styles. We usually ordered a bottle of water, a glass of wine, a salad, half-meter pizza and two desserts and payed 33€. Besides the decent price for great food, we liked that there were only locals in the restaurant and bar, no other tourists. Would always come back.More
We came back twice during our stay - staff are lovely and we ordered some amazing pizza by the metre as well as meatballs. A lovely experience; it seems to be the place to go for locals as we had a teenage birthday party come...in at the same time as us, very cute!More
Passing through Uggiano La Chiesa on October 05, 2017, 2 Canadians stumble on a small Italian restaurant that its community obviously loves! This was our first night in Italy on a 4 month tour of Europe, and we were zonked from the Dubrovnik-Bari ferry ride....We arrived about 6:30 pm, and after being delighted with a tiny bucket bearing a dozen deep fried donut balls, the room next to us was overtaken with a couple of dozen birthday crazed preteens. The place was was alive with life!
After struggling to deciper a dense list of Italian ingredients, we ordered a HALF METER pizza that turned out to be the perfect dinner accompanied with a half litre of a mildly delicious house red wine. We were both sated and to top it off, the energetic staff delivered a stiff nichtcap of espresso! Wonderful. All for 18 euro. Don't miss Skafe!

We went here during our vacation and were pleasantly surprised. Don't expect fine dining, just good pizzas (ordered per meter), a good atmosphere, and kind staff. We ordered 1/2 meter pizza which was more than enough for two. Definitely recommended if you want to eat...well for not much money.More
We were staying at Masseria Gattamora and fancied a change from eating there. This place is just over 5 minutes away.
This is a bar with a separate restaurant area and was very busy and buzzing.
The house red wine was by the carafe and...was cheap and lovely.
They did some nice rosso beer, a change from the Italian lagers.
We had an antipasto buffet at 5 euros a head, it had a great range of different vegetables.
We didn’t try them but the pizzas looked interesting, they sell them by the metre!!More
