    Jeep tour lunch stop.

    We had a great lunch here, arranged for us by Up Mountain Madeira. Very satisfying 3 course lunch with wine/beer & coffee at a great price. Definitely worth a visit.

    Good service

    The restaurant is popular with locals, always a good sign. We particularly enjoyed the skewered chicken and beef and the passion fruit pudding.

    Impressive

    I admit when I got in the restaurant I did not like it. But, my husband and I decided to give a chance. Best thing we did!!! Best steak I have ate in Portugal!! Really good and really cheap. I definitely would come back.

    Generous portions, good quality/price ratio

    Family-owned churrascaria, with generous portions for a tasty local experience. The price are very cheap, but with an OK food quality, and the place is open till late. Definitely worth a stop if in the area.

    Dear Costumers: The restaurant "Caldeirao Verde" opened its doors to the public at 24-06-2015. The space it's still very new but we've been in this business for almost 30 years. We chose to serve traditional food being one of our specialities the famous "espetada madeirense" (beef on a skewer), BBQ chicken, beef chops among others.
