I am so disappointed with the service and the food. I am a huge fan of Zebros and I've been there many times and everything was almost perfect. With the new owners which I only realised today that there's new owners I am not impressed at all! Firstly when you enter it smells horrible, they use (madubula) which is supposed to be used externally. It smells like you are in the restrooms they even smell better than that place.
Secondly the cold unfriendly welcome by the lady behind the counter, with a wrapped face. No greeting and when I greet her, she mumbles looking straight in my eyes with an offensive look.
Thirdly I ordered a quarter meal which is R79 according to the price list. I was asked if I want the sauce and I said yes. She yelled to someone repeating my order. She picked up her phone and started talking to the person in a foreign language. I didn't hear the phone ringing so I don't know whether it was an incoming call or she dialled. The lady stretched her hand towards me which I assumed she wanted me to pay. I gave her R100 and she gave me R4 as change, no slip for my order. I waited being suffocated by the smell and when the order came, yhoh I almost choked but decided to keep quite. Serviette is a toilet paper (exhibit), quarter leg is that of a baby chicken, chips I'm not sure whether it was the morning batch. I asked for a slip, she took out an old slip from a rubbish bin and was about to write at the back, I stopped her and said I want a proper slip. She's busy on the phone all the while. She took out a receipt book and write it ( exhibit). The franchise reputation is being tarnished by these people. I will never set my foot in that place ever again and even the people I know I will tell them not to go near there. -20/10
