We visited twice. Once for a 70th birthday and then again for dinner. Booking would be advisable for this restaurant situated on the beach. The sushi was fresh and I recommend the crispy prawn under the speciality menu or volcano roll.
The Flying Dutchman potijie is the pot that keeps on giving and value for money.
Service is great and helpful - thank you Lwazi.
The menu is vast and the drinks menu too

I collected our Sushi order for our date night last night, and my first high 5 goes to the staff for the professional way they are managing the Covid 19 protocols! Social distancing between clients 10/10, sanitising 10/10, temperature checks 10/10, all with the famous C Bali cheery attitude and the feeling that nothing is too much trouble.
Now for the food! Lockdown clearly has not affected the quality of C Bali’s famous Sushi. Dragon Roll, crispy prawn roll, sushimi, California rolls all melt in the mouth delicious, thank you so much for re opening under these tough conditions C Bali!
We will definitely be back for more sushi and Burger night too 🙏🏼😊

Lovely setting with views of the sea and lagoon. Sushi and stir-fries are my favourite, but there are great seafood and meat dishes on the menu. Staff are friendly and efficient. Prices tend to be a little high with steep wine prices.

We went to this restaurant as the food was highly recommend . The views of St Michael on Sea beach are fantastic and it has an open feel to it . We were seated quickly and handed a menu. Thereafter we simply sat and waited . No one served us . After an awkward 15 minutes i got up and went to a waitress and asked her to serve us . The majority of staff seemed more interested in huddling at the back and chatting . What a shame about the service because the food and view are 100%.
Our breakfast with avo and salmon was excellent and the coffee was worth me asking for a second cup . We planned to go back for supper that evening and asked our waitress to call the person who makes the bookings for dinner. This never happened and we subsequently didn't go there for supper.
What a pity about the poor service . Where is the management on a Saturday morning . The excellent food and view almost make up for the bad service , almost.

We popped in for a sundowner and being “dry January” I had a coffee and my wife a Heineken-0.
The welcome at the door was great, the service prompt and the no-alc beer choice very good.
The view is wonderful across the bay, where we watched the surfers and the gulls doing their thing.
If ever you are in the area it’s a watering hole you must no miss.
We regret not eating because the burgers looked stunning, so give them a try

We chose to eat here on Saturday night. The restaurant is situated right by a large public parking area and large open lawns by a public beach. This equates to litter everywhere, so no matter how nice the restaurant may be it was surrounded by filth. I hope this is not the norm, but we felt it really was a stain on what could be a beautiful spot.

Traveled from U.S to visit our daughter, son n law and granddaughter. They wanted to take us to their favorite restaurant in Shelly Beach. We were not disappointed.
Dined outside beachside. Enjoyed the view and sunset as we ate. Had cocktails and dinner. The drinks were not only a great price and tasty but beautiful as well. There were 4 of us and we all had something different. Everyone loved the food. Cooked fresh to order. Not one complaint, and that is saying a lot for this group 😀
Ordered sushi, prawns, Calamari, fish & chips and hamburger.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I have used C Bali approx 10-12 times per year for the past 8 years, but on Oct 1st 2022, when I called to make a booking, I was told that bookings were not accepted during school holidays. Getting a table was done on a first come, first served basis. So essentially the management are saying, "to hell with our regular clients, who support us throughout the year, they can queue like all the one off visitors." Well let me tell you I won't queue and I won't support the restaurant again. In more civilised parts of the country, restaurants have a system of calling booked guests, if they are very busy, to ensure the restaurant isn't saving a table for someone who won't pitch up. Be loyal to your regulars C.Bali.

I have many childhood memories of St Mikes holidays and on my return after many years was so chuffed to hear about C-Bali. Locals highly recommend it and I can honestly say that we had the best fried Hake and Calamari with delicious onion rings and a good cocktail to go with. The view is stunning and service was friendly and efficient. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favour and enjoy a meal there.

We had not made a reservation and were warmly welcomed , the food was absolutely out of this world , so delicious and fresh and the service was fantastic we will definitely be back , well done team

Lets start with the food
The food
I ordered calamari and pranko prawn and it was delicious the calamari was fresh
Second the drink's
The drinks was also good
The service
Was excellent the place was stack with people and we didn't wait long for our food it was quick and fast and still hot
Sushi
The sushi was also delicious
But the vibe was amazing imagine yourself with a cocktail in your hand the wind in your hair the sun set over the horizon and looking over the sea

Great food and excellent value for money. Good sized portions too. A good menu selection and an amazing drinks menu. We sat on the outer deck which was very nice.

Second visit. Food much better. Seafood potjie and other seafood excellent. Even got a free bottle of Sauvignon Blanc because food was a bit late. Waitress (Brit) deserves a medal for outstanding service. Family was impressed. Good show. Better experience than last...
