Nice pineapple juice on sale. We were driving past, and decided to take a break from our travels. Interesting items made from metal was on sale, which would make for a nice gift. They had the standard goods that you would expect from a farm...stall on sale.More
I’m I love with padstals/farm stalls.
Oakley Farmstall is a Cosy lil shop where you will find clothing items, jams, sauces, pies, biltong, homemade bread, gifts, skincare products, ornaments sweeties, firewood, fruit. ....
Also has a sit down option to order.
We arrived at Oakly Farm Stall in late afternoon, after a gruelling drive from Oudtshoorn. The owner Isabella was ready to close for the day, but she graciously stayed open and fed us the best mutton and barley soup we’ve ever had. We stop there...whenever we’re in the Eastern Cape and have always been treated wonderfully.More
We Met Frikkie & Isabelle at Oakleys. What nice people and an interesting place to visit. their pies, shakes, biltong and juices are really nice. There is an opportunity to start really scenic mountain bike trails from there.
Lovely owner ! Made us feel at home and the coffee was amazing. All sorts of things to buy. Home made ginger beer , pies and lovely biltong. The sausage they make is full of flavor and very delicious. Rooster koeke on the menu makes...for a fun little thing to add to meals.
A must stop for us. Thank youMore
This farm stall boasts a nice restaurant with an adjoing shop filled with curios. The meals served here are palatable if not great but the milk shakes are not the best. The home made pineapple juice is really nice but the home made ginger beer...is not the best that we have enjoyed. They do sell very nice biltong though.More
We frequently drive from East London to Plettenberg bay and Oakly Farm Stall has become our regular stopping point. We always enjoy the same snack there. Roosterkook ( home made bread cooked over an open fire) with butter and cheese and home made jam. The...latter is often apricot jam and is delicious. The portions are very adequate and the cost very reasonable. We wash this down with a mug of coffee. At the same time, we pick up some delicious home made pies which come in a number of varieties. Home made ginger beer and pineapple juice is something we also go for. The premises are an Aladdin's Cave of gifts and preserves, including elaborate built in (drink) bars made out of oak barrels.
Service is quick and friendly and the premises are right on the R72 about 15kms South from AlexandriaMore
