Only stopped for a snack and ended up eating a huge great meal. Vegetarian burger is insane, so tasty and filling, great value for money. Only had imported beers in stock so they went out to collect local beer when we said we can drink Heineken at home, great service.

If you happen to be in Taganga make sure to check out La Morena. Stumbled across the place accidentally and absolutely loved the food, music and the service was wonderful too!

La Morena has a nice terrace to sit on and enjoy the view of the sea. We would recommend sitting as close to the front as possible- the heat coming out of the kitchen was insane and very uncomfortable (poor chefs!).
The food was ok- we ordered a BBQ chicken pizza which was nice- the base was thin and crunchy and the topping was yummy. We had ordered 2 but only received 1. Drinks were standard- again we ordered 2 pineapple juices but only received one. We eventually got the 2nd after reordering and waiting a long time after our food for it. The food also took a long time to come out.
We didn't visit again.

I know the place is well located and might be curious to go in, but if you do please be aware their food is really bad and slow. We waited for more than 70 min for a cazuela and a Pargo dish, and the plates arrived 15 mins apart from each other. It ruined our afternoon and still had to go somewhere else after because the pargo was really small and bad.

The staff were charming and attentive and the ceviche was good, but the cazuela de mariscos and arroz de mariscos were so bad we ate less than half before leaving. The rice was way too salty, the cazuela was more of a chowder, and both had fish with an odd metallic taste and lots of imitation crab. The food in Taganga is hit or miss, but we ate much better at Babaganoush, Salamilimon, Bitacora, and Pachamama.

We just randomly walked in here. Ordered drinks and waited... Nothing happend. I reminded her again. She nodded. 15 minutes later we where told the one Gaseosa is not in stock. So we request something else and got it. Sooo.... I am still waiting for my water. Ordered it again and she looked like she doesn't remember we tried two times already. When I got the burger the meat was cold inside. Not like medium rare red and juicy, but blue and cold. So my girlfriend has to wait for another 20 minutes for her food. The fish comes... Aaaannnd its cold inside too. Also, the side dishes were not even average (on a serious side note, how do you do rice wrong???). Think this is the worse restaurant I've been in ages. And I go all the damn time and often just walk into random places and I'm happy. Might be my first 1 star review on TripAdvisor for a restaurant. But they worked hard to earn it...!

Best place to eat, Arroz con coco (rice with coconut). The most important part is that the food is safe and the drinks. Tap water is not safe in Taganga, they cook the food with bottled water and all drink are made with bottle water. Definitely you have to eat here.

Ordered 3 take out pizzas (only 1 other customer in the place when we walked in). After 30 minutes asked about where our pizzas were. Staff told me “they are in the oven”, 15 minutes later only one pizza had come out of the oven. At that point, two pizzas for ANOTHER table came out of the oven who came in to the restaurant after us. We asked again how much longer(almost 1 hr of waiting) We asked how much the bill was so we could leave (and for a discount because we had to wait so long.) The waitress refused, and decided to have an attitude and THROW our change on the floor. Talk about unprofessional! The manager was in the back watching and did nothing. We have lived in Colombia for a year and a half and have never experienced service like this. Disappointing dinner.

Friendly staff and a lot of choice on the menu. Been there 3 times and all dishes we tried were excellent. Just like you have dinner at your moms place. Portions are more than sufficient for a reasonable price.

Really friendly, English speaking staff. Awesome food and a nice location. We had the fish, mango salad and plantain cream. All very good!

If you are looking for a fresh, delicious and clever food - go to enjoy at La Morena!
The owner is a vegan cook expert, staff is welcoming and location is perfect.
I never expected such a high level vegeterian expirience in such a small town x and i have good taste ;)
