We have been there on Aug 28th 2020 for a lunch. We ordered fried calamari, fried red mullet and two grilled bream. Calamari were barely acceptable (incompletely cleaned) and so are the mullets. The white breams where of a poor variety, badly preserved (with the offal),...roughly cooked and spicefully smelly. The bill was disproportionate both for the overall quality of the food and because they charged us more fish than actually served (they probably weigh it with their entrails). Staff adequate to the level of the restaurant Restaurant to avoid.More

I have been to this restaurant for lunch with friends, nice place, good starters. The main dish, grilled bream, smelled of sweaty camel. The cat that was on the ground actually ate it. Maybe it wasn't that bad. Never again

The worst service ever. Stay away on busy days. The management has great problem. Food is really basic for Naxos.

Disgusting experience in this restaurant. I will be relly short and quick: - Expensive: prices too high for a tavern in a small town, totally different the rest the island; - High waiting time: 45 minutes to fried cooked shirmps; - Worst Tzatziki in Naxos:...full of Garlic. It burnt my tongue; - Terrible service: slow and absent; - Bread old and not fresh. If you come in Motsouna, please stay away from it :-)More

We were delighted to find this restaurant open one weekend in February. The wood burning stove was going and the atmosphere was great looking out on the little port with half a dozen other tables in use (all locals). We ate horta (bitter greens) and...prawns in tomato sauce with spaghetti. The food was lovely and the service friendly, and we will try to go back next time.More

We went yesterday, There are two seaside restaurants in Moutsouna. We gave never tried this one, so we stopped. The setting and views are beautiful. The prices are 1/2 again higher than in the rest of the island, so not really a good value. We...ordered wine, ouzo and a salad. When we went to pay, she told us it was 20 euros. We added the items up before we asked for the bill and it was supposed to be 17.50. When we said it was wrong, she gave us a hand-written bill. Restaurants are supposed to provide a computer generated bill so they pay taxes. Oh, guess what, this time it came up to 18.50 euros instead of 20. Except that still wasn't right. She charged 2 euros for four slices of bread. She begrudgingly said it was 17.50 euros. This wasn't a mistake, made in haste. She was deliberately trying to inflate the bill, thinking no one would notice.More

One of the best Greek salads we have eaten on the island. The sundried octopus was delicious. All this in the calm atmosphere of the port.

We would like to eat a quick thing, Greek salad with an interesting fresh cheese and grilled cheese with french fresh fries. The place in which it is located is very beautiful and there are other restaurants to eat next it, so go elsewhere. As...soon as we sit down they bring us a bottle of water that we believe to be free - in Greece until a few years ago it happened - Instead then it happened they charged 2 euros when the average of greek restaurant in naxos is 1euro for 1.5lt of water. Water not requested at all: when I asked why the waiter replied "did you drink it? do you pay" In a very rude tone. the Greek salad had 4 olives !! really only 4, compared to many cucumbers that certainly cost less! but the taste ... We asked 3 time to two different waiters for vinegar and mayonnaise ,for the french fries (the menu said homemade but at this point I don't know whether to believe it), before someone decided to listen to us. To pay we had to get up after having asked for the bill and waited, over and over again, for someone to do it and also we had to ask for the receipt because the bill was done by hand and he didn't bring to us a legal recipt away. do not issue a receipt and also this is clever. bad and above all they make fun of the tourists and their trust.More

A lovely quiet spot to sit and enjoy some tasty fish dishes by the sea. We had squid, octopus, salads and steamed mussels (which were delicious) but unfortunately the service let the place down. It’s as if you’re inconveniencing the staff by being there. It’s...a 3.5More

Great fresh fish in moderate price. Select from catch of the day. Fried shrimps were delicious, mussels were great as well. Fantastic environment under the trees and by the sea, the definition of the old fashioned Greek fish tavern. Enjoy after swimming at Psili Ammos!
