Just returned from a wonderful dinner in the garden at this lovely restaurant in Vignacastrisi. A warm welcome, attentive service and imaginative, authentic dishes with a contemporary twist made for an evening to remember. We enjoyed a fabulous rose wine from Sava in the Salento,...which completed a perfect evening. Our favourite dishes - an incredible pasta - orecchiette with sweet roasted tomatoes and anchovies with tasty fried breadcrumbs, mains of tagliata perfectly cooked with fresh grated Parmesan and rocket and the most amazing grilled polpo on a bed of creamed chickpeas (truly heavenly)- the best cooked, most tender octopus I’ve ever eaten. Tiramisu to finish ...and lastly a mention for the lovely fresh bread and flavoursome local olive oil. This a MUST restaurant if you are near Vignacastrisi.More

We managed to get a table on a busy warm evening. The menu was not extensive but featured a good selection of food and dishes local to that part of the Salento region. It was delicious and the service very good indeed

When being in this area of Puglia, this restaurant is a must-go! Wonderful space with a beautiful garden setting and with food amazingly cooked and served. They have a small menu with an offer of traditional plates, all cooked with high quality ingredients. All plates...we tried were amazing and to our surprise not even expensive for this high quality! Really recommendable restaurant!More

Welcoming, friendly and professional service of an interesting menu of well presented, home-cooked Italian dishes. Lovely surroundings (in a garden, next to the pool). Nice touch of giving our young daughter chalk and a board to play with. Quite hidden away - but definitely worth...finding!More

Family run trattoria by Rocko and his wife Analisa. We ate here 3 times and had the most memorable food beautifully prepared and presented. Rocko is a great front of house and also a Sommelier and knows his wines which are reflected in the choice...available.All of of the dishes we tried were wonderful and the overall value was great and not expensive. This is restaurant using quality ingredients cooked to perfection. We would have had our last meal in Puglia here but sadly was closed when we wanted to go. The menu is extensive with local dishes and wines to match. Parking is outside and easy to find. If in the area do not miss out - you will not be disappointed!More

Set on the edge of Vignacastrisi. Recently opened by the friendly owner Rocco and his wife. Small menu all freshly cooked to order. Good choice with vegetarian options. Well priced and a good local wine list. Highly recommended. We will return
