Stopped over the previous afternoon to browse...looked food enough to try out fur breakfast the next day. Was not disappointed. Coffee was great and all 4 breakfasts hit the spot. The fresh bread alone was worth the visit.
Definitely worth a stop for a light meal or tea break. Delicious home made breads, cakes, jams and more. Well priced food for the whole family.
Relaxed cosy atmosphere . Homemade bread ! Best coffee and light meals . Its honest and local! Also cakes ,pastries etc for take away
I went in February and I ate apple pie and I like to repeat again. ☺️ The place is very cozy and comfortable.
Always enjoy a lovely breakfast at this eatery great homemade bread ,honest portions and good coffee next to a lovely fire
This is not a cheapest place, but the food's seasoning is tasty and the decor is pictorial and unique. Easily accessible, it's located at the edge of the road. Worth knowing!
I like a good and strong, rich coffee, with a decent layer of coffee foam on top, and I always order a double-shot Americano. Sadly, the number of eateries or coffee shops that manage to serve a really decent coffee nowadays seem to be very...few and far between. I am usually disappointed. But not at Napier Farm Stall ! I was at the farm stall for only a quick coffee, and ordered my usual. Melinda was quickly back with the coffee, and I could see this could be the Real Deal. And boy oh boy, was it indeed! What enjoyment. Petite Melinda needs a badge with her name and "Master Barista" on it! And the "Rocky Road" choccy/brownie was pretty good too. Well done Melinda, and well done Napier Farm Stall.More
We stopped here for lunch after driving past and seeing a few cars parked and people sitting outside. It turns out they were just having coffee and cake, and to be honest I wish that was all that we had done... It is a really...quirky place with crazy nik-naks around the room. I really loved the interior. There is a full breakfast menu and a decent choice for lunch. I ordered the Lentil Bake and hubby ordered the steak sandwich. The order took quite a long time to come for a lunch order, but I never mind that too much, just wouldn’t eat here if you’re in a hurry. Hubby’s steak sandwich arrived and it looked fab, three slices of bread with steak and tomato relish between each layer, it was accompanied by chips. Sadly all three slices of bread had been thickly covered in blue cheese, which he doesn’t like, so it just ruined the taste of the meal for him. My lentil bake was served with a lovely salad, however it was not at all what I would call a lentil bake.... it was basically a cabbage or kale (I’m not sure which as I didn’t eat it) soup, with a few lentils in it topped with melted cheese. I would expect a lentil bake to be a thick stew type dish, perhaps with tomatoes and other veg, but certainly not a watery soup! I didn’t eat it at all. So all in all I think you need to ask what your food is rather than go by the title as you may be sadly disappointed as we wereMore
Over the last 7 years or so we’ve eaten a few times at the Napier Farmstall, often stopping for one of their all-day breakfasts (they’re famous far and wide for their black pan specials, which includes vegetarian options). Today we stopped there for lunch, choosing...one of the inside tables where it was a bit cooler. As in the past, our food was excellent. I had the slow-cooked tomato (lamb) bredie: Very moreish, served with rice and well-prepared vegetables. Other orders at our table included a chicken burger (roast chicken breast) served with a wonderful mustard sauce, and a rare roast beef sandwich. The latter two were served on freshly-baked ciabatta, and came with handcut potato wedges. By the time I thought to sneak a taste, both plates were already clean. If you can, try to save a spot for one of their homemade cakes or tarts. Today’s feast included apple pie, milk tart and cheesecake - we can vouch for the apple pie! Good coffee too. If you time your visit right, there will be fresh quiche made with phyllo pastry; fresh bread or pies to take home. Several of their menu options are also available to take home. Well worth visiting on a regular basis.More
