What an epicurean delight , we discovered this this understated "bakery" by chance passing through Napier and would go back again anytime. Ben was very affable host , more like an old friend , genuine and casual and our the menu very small (only 2 options for lunch ) the description of our lunch lunch of a Lamb belly "salad" was deceptively understated and one of the most sensual and delicious meals we have had in a long time, the flavour profiles were something we rarely have experienced, particularly the pickled vegetables which perfectly balanced the rich meat and titillated the tastebuds. Not too much, not too little ....just perfect ... and the spicy cinnamon buns for afternoon tea are a killer### Hopefully the new -sh restaurant will flourish as Ben and Phoebe deserve support and will definitely see us revisit when we area in the Overberg again.

What an absolute little gem in Napier.
Attention to detail, run by owner husband-and-wife team. 100% involved and it shows!
With a fresh and modern interior, you feel welcomed to sit back and relax whilest they make an absolute fuss about you and try their best to provide an enjoyable experience for their customers.
A small, thoughtfully planned Menu is on offer prepared with detail.
We all had the Rye, Avo & Poached Eggs - perfect soft rye bread, and eggs exactly as we ordered. Amazing freshly squeezed juice. The little tarts we had, were to-die-for.
When you are seated in a clean dining area, it says everything about what is happening in the kitchen for me. Which can unfortunately not be said for some restaurants.
Highly recommended.

So happy we found this amazing restaurant and bakery. On our first visit we bought a pie, cruffin and milktart and without a doubt they were totally delicious.
On our second visit we had the FRESH orange and pomelo juice. I ate the poached eggs on avocado on rye and hubby had the rare beef fillet salad with vegetable pickles, croutons and butter lettuce.
We were always looking for a restaurant where we can enjoy food time after time. So in saying that my husband went back and had the Pan-fried pork neck with pickled cabbage, cashew nuts, curried brinjal chutney and pickles.

A super find, we so appreciate a small and well sourced menu. Excellent scone with clotted cream from a nearby farm and a perfect fig jam that was not too sweet. Great bacon too and lovely to find a good coffee too. Can't wait to bake off our frozen pies we brought home. Thanks so much

A welcome stop in Napier on the way to Struisbaai / Agulhas. Easy to find with parking right outside - look for the pickled green wall! A variety of pies, pastries and cakes made with locally sourced ingredients, some from their own garden. Great coffee in a friendly atmosphere where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend... My new favorite stop!

Absolute fantastic experience !!! - the different tastes in the steak/cole salad..... was between hot and cold..... very nice !

Best coffee in Napier......
Very interesting and special baked stuff..... Will not get it anywhere in Western Cape .....

Immaculately clean, super tasty, new little bakery/cafe. They have fresh cakes, pies, delicious fresh scones, and some great looking salads. My mom enjoyed her scone here, and that’s a high bar.
