We were welcomed on arrival & sat in the window seat . Prompt attention with a warm smile. Ordered Oysters whilst looking at the menu. Again prompt service. We took the recommended wine & very pleased the selection. Starters are lovely.. Main courses likewise &...the only very , very small negative comment was that there was no apple sauce with pork. perhaps it is just a Brit thing.. The deserts are a delight. Overall a very nice evening in a friendly atmosphere. Will be back for sure in the very near future.. Thanks.from us four.More

This was our third visit to this little gem. As per our previous visits, we were not disappointed. We went for the 3 course menu at £24. Given the quality of the food, this is true value for money. The chef takes great pride in...his cooking and was very accommodating when our vegetarian friend asked for something not on the menu. Delicious food. Can’t wait to go back.More

Visited this lovely little bistro on a Sunday in mid-June, based on the other reviews. We were there for the Sunday lunch, I had the Beef & my wife had the Pork. Both were cooked to perfection, as were all the accompaniments. Lovely glass of...Malbec to go with it. Had dessert, mine was the Panna Cotta, which was lovely & refreshing. Wife had the strawberry & chocolate bread & butter pudding, which she said was delicious. Service was attentive, but also nice to see the 2 guys running service, having some banter with each other at the same time. £54 all in. Really enjoyed it & thought it was value for money. Will definitely return.More

Thank you . I please you appreciate the concept of good food without all the "chi chi" as we will say in France . Charles

This little gem of a restaurant. We would never have expected the standard of food which was fabulous. The cheese soufflé was sublime, the main courses expertly prepared and the desserts just a delight. Just wish we lived closer so we could visit more regularly....We hope to come back very soonMore

Four of us were completely spoilt last night with a delicious meal. Charles the chef/patron is a superb chef who takes great pride in making everything from scratch and nothing was too much trouble for Sebastian who heads up front of house. A thoroughly enjoyable...evening - hopefully the first of many visits.More
