Had dinner there on Friday 25/06/2012. The hospitality, setting, decor and atmosphere were lovely. Seems a very safe destination indeed in these Covid times, being in a very private setting/estate and very roomy. The set 4/5 item menu was superb and this is in our...opinion the best fine dining in the whole of the Eastern Cape and probably is the classiest destination for accommodation as well along the entire South African East Coast between Cape Town and Durban. We are foodies and have visited top class restaurants all over the world in our time.More

We stayed three nights in the beautiful, exquisite Prana Lodge, and had dinner and breakfast there every day. We enjoyed the place, the service, the surroundings and not the least the food. A first-class experience.

I suppose the restaurant at Prana deserves to be reviewed on it's own... not that Prana Lodge in itself will get anything less that an exceptional review from me! The whole Lodge is like heaven on eath, but something extra can be said for the...restaurant. Gourmet dining always raises the fear of lovely food, but portions that are too small. Well, I am one of those "bigger" people in life and I can assure you that the restaurant at Prana gets a 10 out of 10 from me!! What is more, the waiters of exceptional, extremely friendly and will even go the extra mile by setting up and serving you at your charlet at NO additional price.More

Prance Lodge has been a highlight of my year for years, but this time the quality has slipped badly.... Omg my lunch was inedible. I had beef but it was more like mammoth. So sinewey and tough, unchewable. My poor mouth had a cow stuck inside...it! Presentation still good. But that doesn't mean anything if you can't eat it. Massages were great.More

Perfect portion sizes - not at all the tiny haute cousine expected. Great attention to detail. 5 course dinner was fabulous and the breakfast stunning.

Everything at Prana is just perfect! The staff are incredibly tentative. The food is dainty and beautiful, but delicious. They have an excellent wine list. Its a lovely spot for a romantic dinner. Its not gentle on the pocket, but it really is a divine...spoil.More

Again, as before, dinner at Prana Lodge Restaurant surpassed all our expectations. The food was decadent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was exceptional - friendly, courteous and professional. Honestly deserves more than 5/5.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a treat! Such attention to detail made every part of our day special. The fabulous massages and the unhurried tapas lunch made our "girls day out" a day to remember and a day to...repeat..... Each plate of food was like a picture (we took sooo many!) and tasted as good as it looked !More

Sadly, we were only at Prana for breakfast but did give us the chance to have a look around this extraordinary property. The setting is delightful, the welcome warm and sincere, the breakfast food and service exemplary making the experience perfect and unforgettable. Thank you...Gail and Ian for accepting us as breakfast guest. We will be back......More
