Booked a table for lunch for 7 of us and had an excellent meal. We ordered a mixture of menu of the day and a la Carte and all enjoyed our choices. Our waiter was attentive and coped with all of us and a full...restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone.More

We ordered the set tapas menu @ 25 euro each. The food was ok but didn’t impress. The portion sizes were very small. We were disappointed that the house wine wasn’t available when we tried to order a bottle. ( However I did manage to...get a glass of house wine before trying to order ) We were recommended a “similar” bottle by the waitress which was fine. However the waitress neglected to advise us that it was double the price ,21euro. The service was ok but not particularly friendly.More

This place is definately worth a visit. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. The decor is clean and modern, staff friendly and welcoming. Offers menu del dia as well as a la carte and tapas at lunch times. We opted for...the menu of the day which had fixed tapas for the table, a choice of fish, meat or rice dish for the main meal and a fixed dessert or coffee. We had bread and salad followed by Buñuelos de Bacalao (Fried Salt Cod Croquettes) and then a sour dough bread ham and pork sandwich. For mains we both had Arroz Merloso which was rice with pork ribs, chickpeas and black sausage. Nicely cooked and served in a small pot at the table. Dessert was verry much like a lemon natillas. As a small criticism I would say a bit of variation on the tapas/starters would be better. Bread, croguettes, sandwich is all very carb focused. Especially if you are having rice for the main dish. However every very dish was nicely presented, served by the staff always with a smile and tasted great.More

Came here with friends - it's fairly new, a couple of years old. Very stylish decor reflected in the menu, a modern tapas concept, interesting, subtle and tasty combinations of food, spices, flavorings, very visual as well in the presentation. They change the menu often,...based on the great regional seasonal produce as it becomes available. We ordered a bunch of items, but started with the bread, as it's made there, to order, and very, very good. A variation on bacalla, grilled octopus, a creamy fish and potato salad,a coca (valenciano pizza). All very good, but also all with a potato variation, which got to be tiring. Still, we ordered it and should have been more attentive, but the menu was heavily in that direction. I had considered getting the set menu, which would have offered 4 items along with a rice dish, but decided against it. Wish I had, as rice dishes (think paella) originate here in this rice growing region, and would have been nice to try their variation. As it was, I never had a rice dish my whole time in Spain, this time. Odd, and unfortunate. We finished with a delicious, volcano type chocolate brownie. Decent value overall as well.More

We have visited this restaurant in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the tapas menu, so much we recommended it to friends. We visited the Ondara branch last night hoping for another delicious tapas menu only to be told it was not available and neither was...the daily menu. The website states this is a restaurant serving tapas and a daily menu which is obviously inaccurate. We only wanted a light menu so just had a main course. The choice was very limited given that the rice dishes needed to be pre ordered. I asked if the cod came with vegetables. It did if you count one artichoke. The cod was delicious and very well cooked but it would not have hurt to serve a few potatoes or rice with this and potatoes were obviously available as some were served with my husband's burger which was also well cooked and presented. It is a lovely stylish restaurant let down by it's inaccurate webpage so I would say to other diners be aware of this. Given that this restaurant was not full on a Saturday, in fact we were the only diners for about an hour, I think this restaurant is missing an opportunity to maximise the kitchens potential even if the tapas menu was only served until say 8.00pm. There are separate dining areas and the tapas menu could easily be offered in one of these if the owners wished to have a different dining environment. Please serve what your heading says MENJARS I TAPES.More

10 of us had lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We all chose from Menu del Dai and the food was fabulous - beautiful home baked bread, three excellent starters, choice from three main courses then either dessert or coffee for €24 each. The wine...was excellent and not overly priced and a nice touch of a complementary glass of cava. The waiter who attended to us for most of the meal was highly attentive and very knowledgeable but the other staff were equally so. The interior is so stylish and beautifully clean and fresh. We will definitely be back and also looking forward to a visit to the new restaurant in Denia when it opens.More

Great food, the house red wine was very good, the service polite and friendly. Items on the menu that are different from the average, well presented, obviously made with care and pride. Simple things like the wooden/laminate floor meant the space was more appealing and...less noisy than cold clattery tiles. Modern feel, nice lighting too. All in all a very pleasant meal in nice surrounds. For those complaining about price, this is a proper restaurant, not a cafe. Smart casual.More
