We went to Harvest on Saturday night, 30 September. The wait for attention is a while, and while the menu has some nice options, I don't think the price is justified by quality. I ordered a stuffed fillet with honey and mustard sauce with a baked potato. The honey mustard sauce was pure honey with a touch (if even) of mustard, and they bring you baked potato with no accompaniment. The waitress also didn't come and check if our meals were ok. I honestly get better food at Spur.

Everything about This place is average,suppose you don't have to do anything special because of the crowds.

We went to Harvest Grill and Wine. Luckily we had booking because they were full, because there was 'n show at Carnival City. Even though there were q's outside the restaurant the reserved our booking. The negative was, our food was cold when it reached us, and we had to ask for our sauces that we ordered with our food. BNut taking in mind the restaurant was full we had avarage service.

Waaaaaaaauw what A Amaizing Supper at the Harvest Specially the hot bread out of the oven with butter and then that Pork Chop with the Crackling made the way we want it!! Definatelly a winner!

Went to eat on Monday for all you can eat ribs. Waited for 15 minutes for 2 drinks and then waited for another hour for our food. Still no food had arrived so we paid for our drinks and walked out.

Went for the eat as much as you can prawns . Service was bad. We kept had to wake up to look for our waitress . Kept had to beg for more drinks or food .

There was more waiters than diners in the restaurant and the service was terrible. Our table was not cleared, we had to call the waitress when we needed drinks or when we needed to order our food. She was always nowhere to be seen and even after I spoke to the manager, the service did not improve. Definitely not a restaurant that I will ever visit again or recommend to my friends.

Very bad service , lazy waiters hiding and avoiding customers , food is not fresh dry and cold , no management , no managers they ignore you , you will only have to help your self it’s a waste of time and money

We went on Monday the 10th of July 2017 as they have this special on Ribs - Eat as much as you like.
Got there the waiter seated us and we ordered our Ribs and Drinks. Got our food and drinks rather quick, but then we had to wait almost 20 to 25min to get a waiters attention to tell OUR waiter to bring us more ribs as they only give you 5 short ribs.
In the meantime people that sat opposite us received another plate of Ribs and they came about 15min after us. Our waiter never came to ask how the food was or just to check up on us. He was nowhere to be seen.
Literraly 30min after having to wait 20min to get the waiters attention did he only bring our second plate of Ribs. Our waiter was never around so we had to ask another waiter to bring us another round of drinks.
When our second plate of ribs came. Some of the ribs in my plate and in my husbands plate was cold.
We had to ask another waiter once again to get hold of our waiter so the we could get our bill.
No JOKES we waited almost another 30min just for our bill!!!
My husband and myself was very irritated by this stage and really just wanted to leave.
I expected better service from this Restuarant - the ribs was very nice but with the second plate the cold Ribs was a bit of a turn down. And the horrible waiter we had - I don't think I will go back.

We hadn't been to Carnival City in a while but decided to try this new restaurant. It was very quiet so were a little concerned about the food and service. well, we were seen to immediately and had good service all night. Food was excellent even though a little pricey. Well presented and very good.

The service as terrible. Three different waitrons wrote down our order (2 people) before they got it right. We waited for AGES for our food - other people who arrived long after us was being served but we wern't and that was not for lack of asking what happened to our order. When the food did arrive we received the starter and the main course at the same time. We both had seafood and it was disgusting. The prawns were so overcooked that you needed a crowbar to pry them from their skins. I had the seafood platter and the calamari was so tough that I could have resoled my shoes with it, the muscles were just bearable, the line fish was not properly fillited and even the chips were like dried up shoelaces. To crown it all off this disgusting meal cost R600 (including gratuity which I reluctantly gave) which was VERY expensive for what we got.

Service was terrible . Waiter never removed a single glass or bottle off of our table , got most of the order wrong , had to be flagged down multiple times to even get our order placed , never brought us clean glasses for our new drinks . The food was overpriced , and the T-bone steak was the worst I have ever tasted . It had no flavour , was extremely tough, and tasted as if it had been re-heated in the microwave . The manager was asked for the bill eventually, since our waiter was nowhere to be found and us now being late for our show , and 15 minutes later , still no bill .

The lamb shank is definitely a winner, my husband and I wanted to try something new and saw the new restaurant at Carnival City and what an amazing experience we had.
From the friendliness of the staff, to good food and excellent company.
Cant wait to go and eat out again.

As a family, when we want good food and service, Harvest at Carnival city is the place we go too. They have a good selection of foods and wines. Their service is also quick!

My husband and i went to the Moscow Circus over the weekend, after having a lovely time, we decided to go into Carnival city for a late dinner (9pm). We went past Harvest Grill and wine. it looked quite empty, we decided to stop there to eat, a group of 8 ppl followed behind us, we stood for 10mins while a waiter was acting too busy to see us there, we then watched as he played with his phone and continued to ignore us,
we looked for a manager and there was no one around. we decided to leave. As did the group of 8 ppl that were behind us.
it was such a poor display of hospitality. i was shocked that this place still stays open.
and when i looked at other reviews now i see that this is recurring service issue.
We then ate at SPUR And despite the fact that it was not our usual fine dining atmosphere it was so much better, the meal and portions were lovely the steaks done to perfection.
