We called here when in Pyrgos and had a lovely lunch.
Service was very good and friendly and the food great - decent sized helpings too.
My wife had the Beef Liver which was larger than a big steak - for €8.00!
Would definitely revisit if we're in the area again

Very friendly welcome on arrival. We arrived mid to late afternoon & my wife fancied the moussaka, but we were told it wasn’t currently available because it was still in the oven, as everything is cooked fresh each day. She was slightly disappointed but, that disappointment didn’t last for long when our food arrived, as it was delicious - fresh fish & Briam; thoroughly recommended. Very reasonably priced, very well cooked & presented food, with good service.
The place overlooks the main area in the centre of town, so is good for people watching too.

The food was amazing and they are vegetarian friendly. The menu doesn't say it all, ask for a veggie option, they will offer you a delicious meal.
The staff is great, they offered us ice-cream and even a little gift at the end, so nice. We were thrilled by this charming place 🥰
Also, it's a very cheap place for Santorini!

Very traditional restaurant with nice view and very good food. Nice atmosphere very friendly service. Portions are very big specially meat dishes. We had pork chops and pork steak and 4 people could eat from those 2 dishes. Tomato balls as the appetizers very really tasty. Martha was our server and she was very sweet. Olive oil with home bread. Ita was the best experience we had in Santorini. Will be back. Don't hesitate to give it a try.

We were delighted to find this traditional tavern in Pyrgos. This is not your run-of-the-mill posh Santorini restaurant with uniformed staff and loud lounge music. Instead you'll find a beautiful terrace and friendly service, and, most importantly, delicious food! We shared the signature "Kallisti" salad for appetizer and were blown away by the taste. Our main courses, grilled chicken and pork dishes were perfect too.

We had the most authentic Greek food and experience at this restaurant. Located in the beautiful small village of Pyrgos, the people were friendly and the food was yummy. We went on a night where there was live music and it seemed like the whole town had turned our to sing dance and drink with friends. We loved it there

I was between 2-3 stars just because the location is great, but at the end it is the food you gotta judge in a restaurant. By far the least yummy food on the trip so far and we will not go back. So many good options in the neighbourhood, we recommend to go somewhere else

We are very sorry about that, and we accept any criticism, whether positive or negative. indeed our village is surrounded by good professional neighbors that we suggest you to visit. but to note that the success of the village is that all the shops, taverns and cafes have a completely different character. we hope you found something that pleased you on our island and we hope to see you again. with all due respect tavern kallisti.

The whole island tourist industry suffers form the coronavirst crisis and Kallisti is no exception. Few clients, small selection of plates and wine. On the other hand, whatever we had was well cooked and tasty. A pity that the white wine had to wait in ice in order to get the right temperature. Friendly staff, nice service.

Traditional and family restaurant, great discovery of greek dishes ( trust the waiter). I'll come back for sure. At the end ask for the Traditional Raki.

We ate here twice on our vacation, once for lunch and once for dinner. The mixed kebab was super tasty and great to share and the house wine is really great value.

We ordered pasta for our daughter, an eggplant pita, fava and spicy cheese dish. All of which were well seasoned, nice suggestions from the owner. Definitely worth every dime!
